The new "Funway Runway" shows features cute models hurtling down a huge waterslide dressed in all manner of outfits. (I like the "Vintage" girl, personally.)
Yeah, that was pretty neat! I love the dress, with the ruffled slip (or crinoline) underneath! She stands there in the sprinkler, getting all wet. Then she goes down the waterslide into the pool, getting herself and the dress soaked!
Just for the record, That is not a crinoline she is wearing, a crinoline is something else entirely. In the 1950's girls would often wear multiple waist slips to make their skirts stick out like that. Seeing this video brings back a lot of happy memories for me. I look forward to seeing more of this mode of dress, wet or dry.
