I used EZGIF.com but I am sure there has to be a better way that doesn't involve sending a video clip up to another web server. I am disappointed that my video editing software (Vegas Movie Studio) doesn't seem to have that as a render option.

I downloaded a Free Video to GIF Converter program by Amazing-Share, it's easy, no file upload size limits and works great for me...only thing that might be a downside is the gifs come out with a stamp in the top right corner that says Amazing Studio, but it's pretty small. You can pay a one time $20 buck fee to get that removed, but I haven't done it, really doesn't bother me that much, and it's not like I'm drowning in likes on gif posts, but maybe that's because of the stamp? Nah, it's just me, I can accept that haha
