Hey, anyone going to the mud prom this weekend? Looks like a blast, but unfortunately dont have an atv yet. Get really muddy see lots of women in dresses that have fun getting muddy , looks like a win win to me. Anyone got a spare atv !
This is on my bucket list but sadly I'm nowhere nearby. I have visited this park before while traveling and without an ATV. The park is huge and most of it requires an ATV to get around but you can walk to the main mud pit and obstacle course area from the parking area and watch (and jump in if it's not too busy). It's just to the west of the parking area about a 3-5 minute walk. Don't get run over. I went on a nonbusy weekend and explored some of the backcountry on foot. There is some mud back there but it's very hard to access without a vehicle and I would definitely not recommend it on an event weekend.
Technically spectators are free but suck it up and pay the $20 for a rider wristband so you can support the park and don't have to explain how you got muddy without an ATV while you're being kicked out.
