All of these mudding scenes are giving me serious fomo! What are people's thoughts on creating a fake mud or bringing mud from outside to an inside location? Is it as fun? A good starting place? I am coming to the experts for a beginner! Please laugh knowing I am terrified of bugs
Oh your are missing out but in can be fixed. Find a potery supply store near your place. Buy powder clay. (Kaolyn is super smooth) a 50lbs bag will make about 2-3 5gallon buckets. So maybe you can have more than one session with that bag and the pool you have there. Super important, mix in ventilated area wearing a mask until there no more dust frying around. Powder clay is super fine and you dont want that in your lungs. Once done clay can be kept for very long Time.. just pit a lid on that bucket and you can keep it for months, even years..
Enjoy it will be bug free and safe for sensitive area.. and great for your skin. The heavy feeling of clay cant be compared
Oh course there are many ways of making fake mud or as above, clay.
There have been various scenes from others which feature fake mud, of note, some MessyGirl scenes and Rev Slymsford produced scenes with Kaydens (and friends).
However, in saying that, one of the appeals of mud/clay is the fact that it is outside in Natures WAM playground. Being in doors somewhat takes away the excitement, thrill and experience of an outdoor Mud wallow.
But, I'm not dissing anything, it's definitely do-able and I totally get the bug thing. So go for it, and enjoy.
I know Messy Supplies have various clay, instant mud products (but they are in the UK, so unsure on shipping costs).

Pics attached for potential using that pool!
My goodness, Bratty. You know better than anyone that a mud scene from you (whether made from clay or using outdoor mud, brought inside or whatever) would have my money probably the instant you post it. So, with all due respect, whatever the fuck you have to do to make that possible for you, I'm all for it.

Well, I don't know if you're relatively close enough to Jayce to make a visit to her mud locations feasible, but that would be one possibility.
And quite frankly, the mere thought of you taking dives in Jayce's mud is sufficiently exciting that, even if it isn't feasible, you should still arrange it anyway

True theres a few producers in the US doing mud scenes that could maybe introduce you to the medium. But sticking to Bratty's mention of the fear of bugs she might want to do her first steps in a controled mud pit.. MessyGirl and MudMadPhil come to mind with their clay pit, or GLAM
Ditto, what SAMOptimistic93 and Moreslime said. But you should also go to DMarieAllWet. Dee is more into wetlook but she has done some really great mud scenes using both the fake mud, and the real stuff. And it is all indoors. She has started a D'MarieAllMessy page. Go to it and check out her scene, "Getting Muddy In Workout One Piece, Hoodie, and Sneakers. You would look so good in that mud. Ha! I would even get in it with you and play around. Dee said you can buy the stuff at a Home Depot but I don't rembermber what it was

A GREAT way to avoid bugs-although, I do think there would be some hilarious footage of Bratty vs bugs
