Is it just me or are people getting more chatty on here recently, it's been a nice change. (Ignoring the whole Messtival thing). There have been some nice general chats and people sharing ideas etc l. Almost a bit like the older times lol.

I have been getting that feeling a bit. I've also noticed a few posts again where people help others figure out what producer created a scene or what movie/tv a scene or picture is from. I always enjoy those posts and its nice to see them again!

Strangely, people are complaining more, but this is also 'good' as it means they feel safe enough to air their grievances, or look for explanations, and then folks have a right to reply that leads to discussion (sometimes) and shows us how varied we are, or not. All part of a community.
