Hey folks! Another round of remastered clips are now available for streaming or download in the UMD Store and SlapstickStuff.vidown.com ! As before, these have been re-encoded with a higher bitrate in MP4 format AND expanded to include all the unedited footage from multiple camera angles. (The original edit is still intact, but now anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes of extra footage is also included per clip.)
This brief run of SS26-28 was actually a VERY transitional period, considering. To wit:
SS26 - One of the last scenes shot in a hotel, although you might not notice since 2 of the 3 scenes were shot outside, in some cul de sac near the hotel on a beautiful sunny spring day. I'm still amazed I had the balls to just set up cameras in a random field with a bunch of (melting) pies in my car and instruct the girls to just "go for it." Did I clean up afterwards? Doubtful. Capucine was one of my favorite early models for always looking thoroughly defeated every time she got pied. (She also took some of the best early pies too.) The dynamic with her real-life sister is something else tho! Pretty sure these were the hardest hits EVER in a scene.... until Eden and HER real-life sis upped the ante in that legendary SS106 clip. I do remember having to constantly move the closeup camera as each pie hit would literally knock the other one backwards. Also, Scene 3 took forever to shoot as the girls could not stop laughing.... and we also had poor Capucine hit her sister while completely blinded by pie (several times)... before she got a fantastic green sliming at the end. (Shame it was her only one.)
SS27 - The (brief) return of Kathleen, who came back twice.... and always with some effort. I can't remember WHY we only shot one scene. (She said she'd come back to do the rest "soon"... which meant "in two years.") But this one is historic for being the very first clip shot "at home," on the infamous SlapstickStuff Back Porch (which would be a constant for years to come) with the SlapstickStuff Kiddie Pool (which would NOT be a constant for years to come). It's also an incredibly long scene by those early-day standards: Multiple slimes AND pies AND waterings. Kathleen, as always, gave me grief.
SS28 - Holly, a now forgotten "one and done," was notable for being our very first "Hooters Calendar Girl," back when that meant something. She also had some of the best (fake) breasts of any model up to that point. Better calendar girls (and boobs) would come along, but I kinda like how goofy (and slightly overwhelmed) she is throughout. This was also the first volume shot inside the SlapstickStuff Studio (TM).... which is where we still shoot to this day! Also, for those who care: The bikini scene starts with Holly walking up to my real-life house... Then cuts to footage of me watching TV (shot after-the-fact).... Then footage of Holly walking into "my house," which was really HER house when I discovered I'd forgotten to shoot that bit and had to do some last-minute pickups to make the edit work. And now you know! (Also, she wears the Hooters T-shirt at the end because she could've been fired for wearing the "real" Hooters uniform in a non-Hooters-approved photo session. Sigh...)
And yes, we're missing the REAL star of this SS26-28 run, but I figured she deserved her own thread. Right???
The first pie in the cop and baker skit "duck" "what?!" (blam) is still the funniest thing ive seen in a WAM vid like. Just really tickles me for some reason, the timing of it is just great
I think the sisters wearing short skirts and slamming each other with pies was the first SlapstickStuff video I purchased. In going back to look at this "era" I discovered the "kiddie show" video with them, which I found incredibly sexy. I bought it and two others.
It is too bad Capucine only did that one slime scene, but damn if it wasn't just about perfect.
And I was so glad Kathleen came back to get slimed. She showed just enough genuine disdain for getting messy to give this an authentic comeuppance angle.
Two classics, and I'll echo The Man's question about this being that long ago, wow.
How good we had it thanks to Rich and a few others. Really is looking more and more like the OG (original golden) era of WAM.
