I know this isnt a new concept but has anyone tried putting their messy substance in an inflated balloon, putting it above themself, and popping it? I've just recently tried it and was suprised and amazed by it. I used white glue in a white balloon. Anyway I'd love to hear anyone elses thoughts or experiences with this, it certainly adds a lot more excitement to the mess in my experience.

My wife and I did it a few years ago, yes very fun but kind of a bear to set up fill ect....

by coincidence this week I was thought about getting messy with balloons and ask about a few tips here.
My plan in filling it with gunge, mayo, yogurt and other things..

Put your mess in a bottle then blow up the balloon.

Put the neck of the balloon over the the bottle then turn upside down the liquid will swap places with the air in the balloon.


If it's a heavier mess then hold or clamp the balloon so it doesn't fall off.

Yep. Been doing this for 30 years. The question of how to put mess in a balloon was what stopped me lurking as no-one knew how to do it! It is probably my favourite way to splosh (bar the big 2-3 hour set up devices) and probably the only way I solo splosh these days.

You can also leave the nozzle untied but twisted so it goes off randomly and sprays the mess around instead of popping.
