So I've been lurking around forever. Those who know me, know I'm a huge anime/comic book nerd and I've helped get some cosplay wamming going on in our little niche community .
I've collected figures for about 15 years now, and recently while cleaning some dust from some older figures I thought of something...what if I got some of them messy? Would it be weird? I figure there's tons of messy anime art, but I have never seen a messy anime figure.
I decided to try it out. I used a rare Tojo Nozomi figure from Love Live! Then poured a bunch of shampoo, gel, and conditioner on it (I'm going to test other nastier substances with cheaper figures). Here are the results.
I think it turned out rather well, it would have been better as a video as the oozing substances really sets it up a notch. But I don't have a setup to do that just yet.
Anyways, let me know what you think. If you like to see more of this, let me know. I have at least a hundred figures collected throughout the years. So if there's a specific character you want to see I *might* have it.
In the future at least, I'm thinking of getting a Shimakaze, Shigure, Lucy Heartfilia, or maybe even a 1/6 scale Yuna doll from FFX in some mess. I'll post maybe a poll or some pictures of my other figures if you're interested.

Thanks for the kind words! It's not as satisfying as real wamming, obviously. But it's fun. I wasn't even sure I wanted to do it at first because it would be "weird" (whatever that is), but I'm glad I did.
Just looking at the photos again, they turned out really well I think (I thank my phone's quality camera for that). You can even see the glitter of the gooey mess. I tried to spread it a bit to get more coverage. Also didn't cover the legs as much as I wanted to (the goo just kept dripping off).
Still, it was a lot of fun, didn't have to spend a fortune in materials, and the cleanup took less than 3 minutes...no damaged clothing in the process
Next time I'd love to do some more coverage if possible. More colors too...maybe even immerse a figure in a giant pie?
Bobographer said: I like what you did there. I did a bunch of messy photos using 12 inch 'Phicen' figurines. Here are a few of them. . .
By the way, I also wondered if this was 'weird', but approached it from an artistic angle.
I haven't had time to do any in awhile. The set up, photography and editing takes hours.
Wow! Great work!!
I just recently started getting into Phicen models and have been interested in messing up some of them. Does the mess stain the model itself? And how do you deal with the messy clothes (wash them? toss them in the trash?).
The outfits I have on some of them were quite pricey, so I don't really want to ruin them just yet. But if there's enough interest I might consider wamming one of them.
Anime figure wam sounds like a really good idea, actually. I've been impressed by the quality and inventiveness of Bobographer's and others' pictures but the dolls are just on the wrong side of the uncanny valley for my tastes. Anime figures, on the the other hand, are kinda their own thing and I think they would work really well. Certainly your test run looks great!
(And if you're taking requests, Marina and Pearl from Splatoon would be awesome! Not quite anime, but anime-adjacent enough)

Thanks for the feedback on dolls. I might refrain from the 1/6 scale figures as they are a bit too realistic.
I'm up for video game characters! I have both Marina and Pearl, and Callie and Marie figures. I would definitely like to slime them in the future, going with the "Splatoon" theme.
You do you friend! It's a messy fetish forum and you're not breaking any rules, go ham! Some people will like it, others not so much. I gotta give you points for creativity. Also, some of those figures sell for a fortune, so kudos to you being bold enough to mess them.

I concocted my own messy substances to cut down on color. But basically none of the clothing stained other than when I used too much green food color. Everything easily handwashes out. (and I mean that literally, as they'll fit in one hand while washing) Obviously we can't do eggs or beans, but other substances can look very realistic with these models. Check my profile to see lots more photos. I was posting them as comic book stories with speech bubbles in the spring of 2018.
