Mental health is a mixture of bad thoughts and chemical imbalances.
Never let yourself tell you anything that you would let a stranger say about a friend. Eat well. If both those together aren't working, seek professional help, the same way as if you broke your leg.

Think happy thoughts!
As a professional counsellor I'll add: Please get help, even if it is for only 1 session, we never think you are wasting our time by not seeing us for loads of sessions and are always pleased to see you.
You can always change counsellors too, you have to find the one that is right for you and we don't take it personally PLUS have a network of mates so we can give you names that might be better!
In these unusual times, many of us are using zoom/signal/skype/telephone too so there is still help out there.
If anyone has any questions about counselling please ask me on this thread or PM me, I will answer all questions the best I can.
