My wife has expressed a genuine interest in silver paint play, and I know as much how to do it, with the powder and baby oil etc, but we just wanted a realistic expectation of how the cleanup is going to be. Obviously baby oil on its own - or any oily/fatty thing - is fairly easy to clean off skin with a good rinse and cleanup with a skin-safe detergent soap like Fairy Platinum on a bath scrub, but is the metallic paint version going to be a significant undertaking to remove? If you can't get a WAM thing off after 10-15 minutes she's (rightly really seeing it's not her primary fetish) not interested. One bad experience and I'm likely relegated to being back on my sweet billy-o in the bath.
Also, will just a single bottle of the powder be enough? It seems as if just one pot of that in a mixing bowl with one bottle of baby oil would cover a body with plenty to spare. As we get older and more boring we seem to be auditing wam sessions by the £-per-cum ratio these days...
Just use soap and water. Grab something with a good texture to clean it up, there are some great back sponges that have a decent textured sponge that do not get too hard.

With oil you'll only need one bottle of powder. The mixing liquid requires 2. Comes off with soap and water but takes a while longer than 15 minutes. Sticks like hell to anything plastic though.
It's a very visual thing. The payoff is having a set of cool pictures of you and Mrs Oberon as gold nudes.
I've found that working washing-up liquid into the paint before turning the shower on makes a big difference - it comes off more easily and also seems to make less of a mess.
Dawn dishsoap and ocelo sponges are your friend. The trick is to rub the soap into the oil before you turn the water on in the shower. Lather it in, run the water just long enough to rinse it out, then turn it off immediately. Start with the hair, then work your way down in patches. It takes 15 minutes, 10 with help. Removal is easier if you apply a layer of plain oil first.
Expect to spend a fair amount of time cleaning the shower afterwards. And expect to find missed bits in the folds of your ear and other nooks and crannies.
i know that for the hair?? after you dawn dish soap it, oddly enough, the best way to get rid of that extra oil? a hairbrush and conditioner!! really work the conditioner in there and it will take away any color left by making the pores of the hair smooth and it slides right off, along with the oil....i rinse a little then add more dawn. soap a little, rinse and then do the conditioner again not only on my hair, but my body as well with a washcloth. the smooth of the conditioner, smooths the oil off. i learned THAT when my hair literally turned silver the first time i used mehron and decided to use it in "baby oil GEL" and i had to walk into my super popular salon, in my hometown, still half silver and my hair?? completely silver. the girls there were in tears after about hour 3 of trying to help me....it was that "baby oil GEL" that stuck to my hair. somehow it made the color stay!!! it was insane. finally they busted out the stuff they use for "conditioning treatments" as a "LAST RESORT" and lo and behold....after scrubbing conditioner, on my hair for about an hour and a half, they got it all out!!!
NOW THIS WAS BC I USED BABY OIL GEL!!! if you use olive oil, or baby oil, get a loofah, poof, some dawn and a bottle of conditioner and you will be fine!
I honestly don't know how you manage to get into these chaotic cleanup scrapes!
My problem is that I am way too methodical and planning-oriented as you can see, and impulsive joyful WAM stuff never happens!
Actually, the WAM community should be lucky to count me amongst its number or else I'd be first in line to be recruited by the serial killer community. I could even use the same tarps.

Actually, WAM is one kink that's quite difficult for anyone to be spontaneous about. Even throwing all practicality out of the window - there are always all sorts of particulars and details to consider...
Muse: "Darling, we've completely trashed the house! Did you enjoy?" Wammer: "Well...I was hoping you'd worn those white jeans?!"
