Thanks both! Will pass the comments on next time I see Maude, and doesn't she just look amazing in PVC? The pigtails were her own idea to go with the outfit, which I thought was a brilliant touch.

As the weather is brightening we're all looking forward to mud season reopening, though that's probably at least a month off yet, possibly more, but yeah, Maude really does love the mud. We need to stocktake our PVC wardrobe, and perhaps expand it a bit too. Brilliant material to wear for playing in the mud, absolutely wonderful for sliding in.

Will definitely see what we can do.

Everyone is rightfully complementing her PVC suit, but I also want to give a shout-out to her Hunter wellies, which look wonderful on her and get muddy inside and out, just the way I like them

Thank you very much for the purchase and really glad you like it! Glad we bought the Hunters too, they were a bit of a random investment a few years back, we have five pairs, all sizes from 4 to 8, and so far the girls love wearing them, and they not only mess beautifully, inside and out, but also wash beautifully and come up like new each time, so we expect to go on using them in welly scenes for a good while, though we'll also still be doing other footwear too, depending on what goes best with any given outfit.

Definitely more PVC coming too, we're planning a stocktake of our existing PVC gear, and a small purchase programme to add some new options to the collection too.

And finally, agree completely about messy inside and out. One of the Rules of the Hall is that wellies should always be well-filled, finishing a welly scene with clean dry feet is not acceptable!

It's been a wild ride but well worth it, I've got to work with some wonderful people both as models and meeting up at splunches, and it's always amazing to see the raw ideas wet and messy brought enthusiastically to life.


I try not to have favourites, everyone brings their own unique style and ideas to each scene, but yeah, Maude really is a true mud-baby. Hoping for another good summer this year, we have lots of idea still to shoot.
