Although I am a straight male I do love seeing a nice male suit (and all the rest of the outfit) destroyed. My definition of destroyed is possibly messed but definitely cut and ripped to shreds. Apart from suitbusters does anyone know of anyone else doing this sort of thing?
suitdestroyer and suitbusters are not same folks...both classic wammers, tho...rippers are a smidge more specialized, but there are a few hanging around I think...once had a suit cut off me on LiveDunkTank.com...fun stuff.
Thanks for clearing that up. Shows how rubbish my memory of names is! For those who are lucky enough to be able to mess suits I have a question. I have only messed a good suit twice and both times my wife cut it off me. For those who only mess suits, how much mess can a suit take before it is ruined. I always assumed the jacket especially wouldn't stand up to much abuse but maybe I'm wrong. How about a before, during and after set of pics?
Suits are surprisingly resilient. If you soak one in a pool, a quick shower to rinse out the chlorine and let it drip dry, all it will need is a pressing. I've thoroughly messed them up and then washed them on the delicates cycle, then a drip dry and a trip to the cleaners. After a few times, though, the stitching starts to come a part, the jackets start to lose their shape. All in all, your best bet is to wear a brand new suit, get very wet and messy in it, and then cut it and shred it straight away. That way, you don't have to worry about trying to clean it up.
