The coronavirus will likely wipe out mainstream television WAM for at least the next several months. Probably longer.
PoR was a replay last week. I don't expect any new episodes for quite some time. It'd be nice if they replayed some of the old episodes that never found their way to YouTube. But that isn't going to happen.
Latin America is probably going to get hit hard with corona so the remaining EEG type shows will almost certainly stop their messy games too.
Japan? Germany? UK? Not very likely.
2020 is off to a dark start in most every respect.
Hopefully there'll be a quick and unexpected turnaround.
I mean... MOST television is likely to wiped out for many months. The industries are ground to a halt the world over. So we shouldn't feel particularly singled out.
Take solace in the wonderful works produced from all over the world on here!
My local college "radio" station - now entirely on the internet, so no actual radio any more - has replayed the SAME pre-recorded music show - formerly called The Now & Then Show - every Monday night 6pm-9pm since February 17.
Hate to tell you, but mainstream television WAM basically dried up about 3 years ago.
I know the EEG shows have good bits once in a while, but compared to the consistently great Conexao/Chega programs every week.... and a PoR that actually booked consistently hot women.... The last few years have basically been a desert.
And again, this is ONLY Latin American stuff. The U.S. has been straight garbage for over a decade.... and even Japan basically puts out nothing of value now. (Or if they do, it rarely gets on our radar.)
If it helps, us producers are definitely still going strong!
