FYI when this video was released in 1989 I remember that MTV held a competition for who could make the best parody copy of this video. They had hundreds of video submissions and had a show where they showed the best 20 copies of this video. Many of the wetlook parodies people sent in were just as good as Madonna's version.
This was all before Youtube existed, but it would nice to find that MTV show again.
One of the funniest versions was done by an old man.
