Just released on Langstonedale, sometimes, you just want to throw yourself into the mud. And that's exactltly what Lucia does, dressed in dark blue Flex-o-thane dungarees worn over a dark blue waterproof jacket, green Hunter wellies, and a pair of big grey rubber gloves to complete the outfit.

Thanks! And yeah, we are blessed with having the Marsh House mudbanks to play in, wonderfully creamy clay, and the way it just engulfs any clothing worn into it is magical. Though it doesn't always wash out, during the late May heatwave our Charity wore five different outfits into the mud, but neither the wedding dress nor the white jodhpurs have fully washed out, and I think we've finally killed off the Henri Lloyd white polo shirt (which she wore with the jods) too.
All Hunters should be worn in mudbaths, anyone who owns a pair and hasn't tried it is missing out.

It definitely is a special patch of mud - I always know whoever is in your vids is going to get well covered! I'm not surprised the white outfits haven't cleaned up lol
I do just love Hunters going from clean to completely trashed - I've got a few pairs I'd love to give similar treatment to tbh!!

I love the way the mud instantly coats anything that touches it. There are messy substances that if you're quick and the quantity is small, can be wiped off without leaving a trace. But the mudbanks mud is not like that. The slightest touch or brush, and it has you, a muddy mark that is not coming off this side of a washing machine. I love that, and the opening parts of the scenes where the girls' clothes make first contact with the mud, and you know from that moment on, they are doomed.

Do it! In our experience they'll wash out just fine in the machine, or even with a hose and brush in the yard. Though getting all trace out of the inside will need a lot of running water and a fair bit of work.

Thanks! And the muddy boots certainly seem to have been a big hit with this scene, which is nice to see, justifies our investment in buying 5 pairs from Northern Ireland some years ago.
