There is a certain NZ TV show where in a lot of the 1h-long episodes the two female presenters get pied somewhere at the beginning and stay messy till the end. Typically, it's just few shaving cream pies all over their hair, only rarely the face.
Some horror movies (e.g. Bats, Ready or Not, Eden Lake, The Lost Tribe, Game of Death, ...) have one or more characters that get splashed with red gunge/fake blood and stay covered for half or more of the movie.
In today's (24 March) episode of Steph's Packed Lunch (a UK Channel 4 show) the host Steph McGovern got gunged and stayed covered for about 10 minutes till the end, while interviewing (cooking with) the last guest. Not the longest time but quite interesting nonetheless.

On the old fx show Son of the beach, Kim Oja's character gets attacked and pulled into a mud pit. She spends the next 5 minute scene drying covered head to toe. One of my favorite scenes.

I can remember a certain TV show from my childhood- where in one episode a contestant sat in several bathtubs of gunge for the entire show- some two+ hours?? of being almost continuously neck deep in gunge. (as per forum rules- I will not name the show.)
