Did Lisa retire? I don't see any new clips with her. Curious on what's going on there in the UK.

Probably not my place to speculate but my guess is it's related to the MW scandal.

Lisa Moomin had been 'winding down' for a couple of years and retired from 'routine' modelling in 2018-19, prior to and regardless of anything that transpired subsequently.

She was amazing, and I'm not sure anyone has fully taken over her role as Perpetual Ray of Sunshine here. She deserves a re-write to her final chapter on UMD. Jilly, too. If this was Netflix or Amazon Prime, I'd sign the petition for a reboot. Or at least a sequel starring the original cast.

Following on from the MW scandal and safeguarding issues, Leon & Lisa got divorced.
I doubt that many of us could ever comprehend the situation she was in.
And I for one, do not blame her at all.

Our loss, but Lisa and the model's health, well-being and safety come first.

Not that Gilly (although I guess she just retired), but Jilly as in Jayce and Jilly.

In short - I'm not sure if Jayce would want it all rehashed, although the thread where she explained about Jilly's retirement is probably still there somewhere - there were some personal/health issues, and that's why Jilly isn't on UMD anymore.

Like the poster above, I'd love to think there'll be a comeback of sorts, even if just to formally say goodbye, but Jayce has said a few times now that Jilly is completely retired and that's that.

A shame, but it is what it is.

Gilly Sampson is still about....but not doing WAM stuff I think.

Shame about Jilly.

She is brilliant.

You know; I gave up on the notion of dating and relationships and all that many years ago... but for her case, I would make an exception now IF she is single. She always had that personality that was just endearing on many different levels. Being pretty didn't hurt either, but she was most beautiful as a person with the way she treated the people she interacted with. Hopefully she's doing well, at least?

Completely agree. Lisa stepped back from both regular modelling and posting in the main forum a few years ago (as Trouso said, long before all the stuff with Leon happened), but she didn't leave UMD. She just switched across to some of the sub-groups and created a rather sweet pastoral role for herself as a sort of big sister, offering support and advice where required. She really was a lovely person, and it was such a shame that the fallout from Leon led to her leaving for good and so the end of this new role.

I also felt very sorry for her throughout that whole situation with Leon, as she must have found the experience distressing and maybe even humiliating. As you say, let's hope Lisa's much happier now, a couple of years on.
