Sooooo it occurred to me that I have almost NO REVIEWS on my scenes despite have a decent number of sales. On all of the other outlets I use, having reviews, good or otherwise are a big part of what drives interest so here I am offering this code, on the honor system, hoping that anybody who uses it, will leave a review on at least ONE CLIP. This code can however be used with both the buy-3-get-1-free sale as well as any of my bundles (which means this could be MASSIVE savings). The code is review50 and is active as of this posting. It is good for 50% off of your whole order! Again, the only thing I ask if that if you take advantage of this absurdly large discount, PLEASE leave a review on a few of the clips, or at least one (especially if you use it for a single clip order)
Good morning, I'm writing this not to be rude, for I think that your scenes are pretty good. But, your biggest impediment to more sales is not the lack of reviews, but your incredibly high prices. Compared to other producers, who offer similar scenes, your videos are probably a few dollars too high. I know you have production costs to consider and the larger producers have more scenes and can afford the lower prices, but I know many people who would baulk at spending $20 on a clip, no matter how great it is.
Thanks for your response! Appreciate the feedback, but tbh I'm not worried about number of sales. I'm doin pretty ok in that regard. I'm just hoping to grab some more reviews and hoping a quick sale would provoke that. As far as prices go, a vast majority of my scenes are tween $14 and $16 which while a tad more expensive than most of the other producers is where years of experimenting with costs vs sales volume when starting as low as $10 and maxing around 20, allows me to break even but not over charge. Most of my scenes are also rather long so when broken down to the dollar to minute ratio actually come out pretty favorably I think.
It's a curious condition for me actually. Sales volume is at a level I'd deem acceptable but despite this being the case, my promotional threads see some of the lowest interaction and commentary. I guess my fan base is the non vocal variety lol.
In the end tho, none of it is REALLY a major cause for concern. Just a curiosity. I created my art for probably 5 or 6 years running heavily in the red. Thank goodness for a day job. My only real reason for maintaining sales profiles is to try and break even on shooting and maybe once in a while ease the cost of purchasing new photo gear which is used in endeavors that are much more profitable than the adult industry. A bit of advice to anybody considering pro photography / video: while making porn is undoubtedly more fun, the REAL income is rooted in corporate gigs, product photography, and sometimes as much as I hate them, weddings.
