I have a fairly vivid memory of seeing a brief clip of the Regis & Kelly show where they both were getting hit with pies. Did I hallucinate the whole thing? I can't seem to find any clips or pics online aside from the time Kelly pied this one guy a bunch for a Guinness record. Anyone else seen or know of this clip by any chance?
Yeah, she's done messy stuff a couple of times, but specific show segments can be damn near impossible to find online. I remember one specific one where the set was just draped in plastic sheeting everywhere for a proper food fight, but she got too enthusiastic and emptied a squirt bottle of mustard right into Regis' eye in the first volley - that kind of ended it right there.

The food fight(which also involved Tony Danza) was something they did for their own amusement. Several UMD vets will likely remember the molten rage that took place on this forum.
too my recolection they had nascar drivers on the show for world records week they pied kelly regis gelman everybody.everytime i find a video of it the powers that be keep yanking it off.
Damn, how could I have forgotten Kelly's Fallon appearance? Regardless of what I said above, the Fallon thing is easily her best WAM moment for me. Coverage was quite good and she was actually very funny in it. At one point, her face totally plastered with pie, she asks Fallon how she looks. Then she says something like: "But I don't look undignified, right? That's the main thing, because I'd really hate to look undignified."
No, you are not hallucinating. Regis, Kelly, and a couple other member of the crew attempted to break the record of most pies thrown in the face at once. They were all dressed in plastic ponchos and wearing goggles, but Kelly was by far the most into it. As another user mentioned, they had some NASCAR drivers on to do the throwing, and whoever was partnered with Kelly had a great underhand throw because he was hitting her square in the face over and over again. The rest of the crew was just kind of turning and ducking from the pies, but not Kelly! She wanted that record.
It was revealed later though that the person doing the throwing got the record and not the person getting pied. So Kelly asked Wilmer Valderrama (best known as Fez from 'That 70's Show) if he would get pied for her to break the record and he agreed to do it. I've never watched that clip but I'm sure it still exists on the tube somewhere

That sounds right. I remember she had her hair up and was in a dark jumpsuit.
