This is what I don't get. At the time of my post here, 314 people have viewed this poll. Only 47 have voted. That means that 267 people can't take the time to click on a dot? I mean, the question is ridiculously simple too.
It's a no rainier question though, like (should we give you free money?) Yes will obviously win so people won't bother voting. Although I did, because I'm an idiot
Consider yourself lucky, Bozo. A month ago, I did a poll asking who made the greatest pie videos -- it got over 3800 views, and yet only 85 people actually voted in the poll! (That's barely over 2% participation.) Of course, there were about a dozen people (including you) who didn't vote but left a note indicating they thought that they themselves were the greatest producer (but weren't included in the 10 choices), or they thought someone else who didn't make the 10 choices was best (in the latter case, it was most commonly a producer who was no longer active and thus didn't qualify for the poll's conditions). But still, that's only 12 or so more people that might've voted if I'd been able to offer unlimited poll choices (and also thus didn't have to restrict the poll to currently active producers.)
Another factor is that some people will look at a thread more than once, to check back and see how the poll is going, and/or to read the ongoing comments in the thread. I'm not entirely sure, but I believe each individual view of the thread counts, so that drives up the viewcount even in cases where there is no possibility for voting.

These are all good points, piero. And indeed, I am one of the people checking back on the same post to see how its going!
