"Is something up with the messy forum?"
When I'm logged out, I get the message that there are no posts in the forum. When I log in, all is normal. MM, what are you messing around with now?

I'm just theorising here but I suppose it may be around privacy and ensuring that MM can see exactly who engages with what content. I think this is even more topical given the recent issues which have come to light

The other day I had something where I could not hit my profile from the messy forums. It would give me the login option rather than the profile option. Once logged in it would not recognize it and back to login. However, from wetlook, Non-Wam etc I had the profile link up top where I expected it.

I appreciate the support everybody!
This is a living, breathing site that's under constant daily development, and I couldn't do it without folks alerting me to bugs and giving suggestions. Never taken as a complaint! Right now I'm updating a lot of deep areas of the code to improve efficiency and speed. So a few areas are still jacked up, but I'm aware and working on it. At least the forum pages aren't taking 30 seconds to load now

When I post an update thread I usually linkt to my page. At the moment the links get scrubbed from my post, I cannot link to my page.

Posted correctly. Looking at your own post, looks like you're trying to link in external images, which I believe MM has disabled, the way to get large clickable images is to add them to the actual post and then link internally to them, but with the A link to your own site, so something like this (replace the brackets with angle brackets for actual code):

To get the internal image links, initially make the post without the large images (as you'll not know the correct image URL, the ones in preview mode are temporary), then when posted, Edit the post. Open each image you want to link in a new tab. In the new tab right click the image and get it's UMD url. Then back to the post itself and construct a url link as my example above.
For UMD display I resize my samples to 800x600, then they fit the browser nicely at most reasonable resolutions. Also means I'm not giving away high-res content, but they're still large enough to show what is happening clearly.

Thanks for looking into it! It used to work with images when I left out the "https:" in front of the external image link. The system somehow interpreted it as internal then and added the external link. But that loophole seems to have been closed. I tried it now with uploading the image to umd and use the internal image link, but it sill strips the external link from the image.

Weird, it works when I do it. I put just (a href=https://www.wetandmessyphotography.com/downloads/the-business-lady-is-pied/) into your quote above, with no quote marks or spaces, is that the same you did?

Ah ok, that's what seems to have changed. Up till now I added the link with quotes as usual in HTML. But what's weird, when I quote your message, the system adds the quotes to the link within the UMD-quote-tags and after posting my reply the link on the image works attached a screenshot).
