Well as you know I won the poll for receiving the pies.
I dont know if I didn't mix them long enough but they wasn't getting any thicker. You have to move incredibly fast to use them as they start turning to liquid within half an hour so too stressful for me ! I will stick to may fake lemon meringue pies with crusts in future
Unfortunately the formulation of best pies in the UK, the Moomins' ones, is a carefully guarded secret which lives in a deep secret vault buried somewhere beneath Weston, on a par with the formula for Coca-Cola, and as yet we've not managed to recruit a female Bond villian with the skills to sneak into the hidden vault.
I have wondered about using Angel Delight as a pie filling, that sets to a nice consistency in the fridge, which also has the advantage that the recipient will react to both the pie impact and the cold. However given my personal love of butterscotch Angel Delight, any attempt to actually do so would probably end with me eating all the test samples before they could be used.
Of late, what we've done for "pies" are paper bowls, a quid or so for 25 from Asda, each with half a can of custard and topped with squirty cream. We have the girls make them up as they are about to use them, and the bowl contains enough to really slop all over the recipient's face and drip down her front, and they fit nicely on the face too, or on a breast - Cynthia's ample boosoms got well pied with these type of pies in the formal scene she and Elsie did.

I tried Angel delight years ago when I was posting on yafro. I had on jeans and sat on a plate of it. Strawberry. I couldn't sit on a butterscotch one like you its my favourite. I introduced Richard to the delight recently and he enjoyed it ! Imagine never having tasted butterscotch angel delight ! Instant whip would of made a great pie filling as it didn't set so firm but I think they discontinued it. This is my go to recipe now....
I have been on the quest for the perfect pie for years ! I have found that these can be made with crust or without. For crusts I buy ready crushed biscuits or crush my own mixed with some melted butter and pressed into a foil pie plate shallow is best like you are making a cheesecake but thinner. Next I buy a packet of light yellow MS gunge from messy supplies for the "custard" or "lemon" filling. Any of the thick gunge will work. Buy the 1 litre samples in different colours to mimic pie filling. For the cream I find the avalanche foam from messy supplies doesn't sting. But i think amazon sells cheaper cans of pie foam which is kinder . The trick is to squirt it into a bowl and add drops of water and use an electric whisk to mix the water and foam it gets glossy . Only add small dribbles of water though. If you add more you get another amazing liquid foam mix which is great to pour especially if you add colours to it with gel food colouring. I hope this helps you. You dont get the cream smell and if you omit the crust would be great in the bedroom as its all non food.
