A Picture form an event some weeks ago in Germany: The closing of the indoor-part of a public swimming-pool. The mayor in her formal attire, gives a TV-interview to a local TV-station, sitting right on the stairs of a waterslide before the official ceremony. Just a few stairs up and this would have been a REALLY worthy last slide for the pool! IF ONLY ... But she left the slide on the "wrong" side ...
But to be honest: A politician? A mature lady around 50? In one of her good office-outfits? Drenching herself in public? Risking ruining her suit? Joining the official ceremony afterwards totally dreneched or even being forced to get home in a rather damp and uncomfortable-cold state if she hadn't brought a change of clothes? And all this just for the fun of it??? Well ...
... there was a party after the official ceremony at the outdoor-pool. And in the end it really happened! Joined by some staff and some other guests the mayor voluntary(!) threw herself in the outdoor pool, still wearing her full business-costume, and used it instead of a bathing suit. (and even the jacket stayed on!)
