I'm just curious about this! I know people have somewhat divided opinions on the matter, but would it actually deter you from purchasing a clip or photo set if the model being gunged or pied was wearing goggles?
I think it depends on what she is wearing and getting gunned with. Small swimming type goggles are better than the big Double Dare type.
As a side note, I've worn goggles before and it's cool to be able to keep your eyes open and see the pie splat and the whipped cream and syrups running down your face.
For me it would entirely depend on what else she is wearing, if she's wearing an outfit I love and it's filmed so you can properly see her whole outfit getting messy, I have no issues with her wearing goggles - especially if doing so means she's happier getting messy than she would be bare-eyed. I hate getting anything in my eyes so can well imagine a model might be more than willing to be dressed in a boilersuit and drenched in gunge but not want any in her eyes.
It's fine that the people commenting aren't outright ruling out googles, but look at your poll. 80% of the people responding are gonna dismiss ANY scene with goggles. Doesn't matter WHO the model is or what she looks like.
If you desperately need to work with a model and goggles are the dealbreaker, then go for it. With the knowledge that you're definitely gonna lose money on it. (Hell, put her in a wig and you might not get a single sale! Take it from someone who knows! )

What's there left of me you're still curious about??
And on topic, I agree with rbf, per usual. I love the premise of the model starting with them on and trying to avoid the mess, only to get really messy later when they come off. I think Pie Zone's latest scene features this idea and Jayce also had a similar video years ago.
No - I am in the minority here but I like the use of goggles in certain situations - someone else mentioned it but it also applies to me as well that having been brought up on 90's Nick, the use of goggles is a key part of my WAM upbringing and thus holds a certain sentimental appeal to me...
Not really. I use them sometimes cause nothing stops the fun like burning eyes. and being able to see when one is done is a bonus. Especially when I need contacts to see at all if I don't have glasses on. so to me, its not a thing. It also ups the taboo angle as well. Like you really shouldn't do this and she/he knows its coming
Any kind of visible protection or preparedness goes against the grain for most people. It suggests to the audience a lack of commitment from the performer.
My own observation is that it's partly practise. It's probably more of an issue for people who don't customarily wear make up. A lot of women who wear make up most of the time have a tolerance for substances in and around the eyes. Avoid very sugary items and - if it's a genuine problem - just don't do it too often.
If it's actually a 'thing' then find out who your allies are and build up a following this way. It won't be a big audience, though, and not enough to sell any significant number of videos. I find this with female messy shampooing. I include this in a lot of my work but really just for my own amusement. It's not a deterrent, but it has virtually no commercial following as far as I can see.
Well, it all depends if it involves a wetsuit, flippers and a snorkel then goggles would be ok!, oh...then add the wife and a lot of gunge!.On a more serious note, for someone trying to get their partner messy even if goggles are a total turn off then the use of goggles my in fact assist a person who is not into getting messy actually enjoying themselves.........having to clear your eyes is one less thing to worry about and the person enjoys the feeling instead. For me personally my partners primary thing is getting "rubbered up", getting messy does does not get her going but she does enjoy the comedy/naughty element of it. If it was not for the fact she is fully geared, my chances of ever getting her messy would be nil, just by adding goggles would increase the chances dramatically. A paid model/custom, then you have every right not to see any face protection etc that is their job but for someone who hates goggles, the use of them could allow your partner to be more involved in your fetish. I get to gunge my wife with lots of gloop due to the fact she is wearing goggles!!! I just wish we had more time and we actually took more vids of when we do get up to messy fun to share with yourselves.......the goggle lovers!!!
