I have an oral fixation & love wam so this video is super hot to me. Plus there is nothing sexier to me than a creative person with self confidence who doesn't give a fuck about being "normal".
I've never understood the hate towards her. It's not like she's been caught in a scandal or anything. I find it her pretty epic for that same confident idgaf approach.
I think Miley gets paid more to be weird than she does to make music. Honestly, I'd rather have Miley be weird than making music. Have you heard any decent music coming out of this girl since she went blonde? NOPE.
I'm not sure why people get so worked up about her behavior or actions. She's conducting herself in a calculated way to engender both attention and celebrity.
My thought is she was trying to deconstruct the idea of her "Hannah Montana / Country Girl" image in people's minds, but I feel like she's maybe gone so far the other way that even if she's actually showing us more of her true self or motivations she's going to be pigeon-holed as this persona despite what the reality might be.
Even Lady Gaga at the height of her "stylized" wardrobe choices and various hullabaloos had a positive message behind all the spectacle. "Be who you are," and she is still more than able to bring it lwith her Julia Andrews performance at the Oscars a prime example....
Eh regardless, Miley isn't my cup of tea. Not terribly fond of her musical choices of late, not all that attracted to her persona she's recently cultivated, and I'm not sure that the IDGAF attitude has ever been all that endearing in a world where for the most part no one else seems to give a fuck already.
Now Emily Osment on the other hand... I'm still baffled at how she seemed to grow up in 5min and become so darn cute in the process.
FYI: I'm the type of guy who tends to enjoy cute more than grunge, so maybe I'm biased, but it's my opinion so I'm reasonably okay with that.

I really hope you two can work it out, Leila. You are stunningly gorgeous and, like Miley, you are also "a creative person with self confidence who doesn't give a fuck about being 'normal'," so I would imagine she could easily fall for you if you can only gain entrance into her rarefied world. And since your husband seems to be such an understanding fellow, I'm sure he would step aside and grant you a divorce so that you and Miley could live happily, messily, orally ever after. Also, at the reception, I can only imagine all the places you and Miley's wedding cake will end up!

She's not even "weird" (I.e. original, daring and thought-provoking) she's a conformist drone.
This right here.
Cyrus' whole routine comes off as so forced and phony. Who is she trying to impress?
Dennis Miller, the comedian, had a great rant about her after the "twerking" nonsense that you can see here:
It's great the way whenever someone expresses enthusiasm for something or someone outside of the WAM community, odds are about three to one that a bunch of UMDers will jump on whatever the object of affection is and trash it.
(Go ahead and post your "You're a fine one to talk, pieromaniac" posts. I know I've been argumentative in recent months, but bear in mind that I largely argue AGAINST people who themselves are trashing something outside the WAM community for failing in one way or another to live up to wam-centric expectations -- later episodes of Chega Mais, the idea of Marie Osmond as frequent pie victim, etc.)
I always cringe when I post Miley WAM stuff - the inevitable comments - why is it important to comment on anything but the quality of the post? Why her, and not other artists/singers/models? The last time I posted something, someone commented that she was degrading herself in front of a national audience. Really? And the models in our community are different how?
