With all wamming the colour needs to contrast the colour of your outfit; else its just not going to be visible. If wearing little black dress (or any really bright colours), white pies are what you need. The follow-up with coloured pies works because by that time you are sufficiently coated in white and so subsequent white pies are hardly visible.

I am also an equal opportunity pie lover. Whipped or shaving cream...colored or white...all good for me. Nothing of these options could ever ruin a scene for me.
