LOL! Interestingly, we've not had the problem with Hunters, we've several scenes where the girls slip them on and off with ease, both clean and when full of gloop. The boots we have found a nightmare were two pairs of matching dark blue Goodyear ones. Last year Lady Jasmine and I had a driving weekend in Wales, and decided to dress identically, we were both in blue swimsuits, matching blue boilersuits, and matching blue wellies bought specially for the trip. The boots looked great but were an utter nightmare to get off, even bone dry. They've been relegated to the model wardrobe to be worn by girls with feet at least one size smaller than the boot size. Never had wellies so hard to get off before. Eventually we might get matching dark blue Hunters instead, though for now Lady Jasmine has apropriated the matt black size 5 Hunters from the collection, and I've a very nice pair of dark green Aigle wellies, neoprene lined, which are some of the most comfortanble boots I've ever worn, and just slip on and off. They don't get wammed in, I keep cheaper plain ones in the van to change into before going boot-flooding.

Wellies everytime! Espicially really girly boots, or really chunky steel toe wellies.

Definitely heels. The sight of an elegantly shod foot sinking into something messy is electrifying. Especially that first moment as the die is cast.

Admittingly, I had no idea how popular it was for people to see messy heels!

I prefer pantyhose-covered feet on women, be they clean or messy. Bare feet doesn't really do it for me personally.

I have a thing for hosiery - so the feet must be covered. I particularly like tights as they can be filled too but also socks (knee high or ankle with frills) and stockings. I am not a fan of just messy feet - its about the whole outfit for me, ideally a very pretty dress and hosiery. The woman looking beautiful but just about to get her just deserts...

To be honest - I like any shoes - I have thing for a ballet flats and also mary janes, heels at times but I particulalry like the innocent look whereby the clothes and the women go from innocent to totally covered. I love seeing ballerinas totally covered in food!

I can't believe I missed this. Of course my answer is boots/wellies. That's like my favorite style of shoe to wear daily.

bare feet for me or open toed shoes/flip flops with bare feet. They can start with shoes then end up bare foot!

SOCKS! Especially super oversized big slouch socks or mens hiking socks, love it! Some of your clips are amazing with the long slouch socks soaking wet!

Goes to show the age difference of people on this site. How about socks with heels is that an option? Just Kidding!

Sheer hose!

I missed this, but definitely thigh highs and black pantyhose. It's a texture and visual thing for me, clean or messy. Often when it's chilly, I just wear thigh highs around the house with a bulky sweater because I can't be bothered to find pants. Who has time to put those on these days anyway?

Ballet flats. Professional but yet look like there walking barefoot.

The reason I voted for heels is that I can recall with great clarity the occasion when I first slipped my feet into a pair of heels filled with grunge. The sensation was amazing. I've been hooked on messy heels ever since.

Depends on the scene. My default would probably be high heels.
