Maybe I'm missin' somethin', but went to the 'Whiskey Licker Bar' last night for Thursday's event.
Didn't see anyone closely resembling our crowd. Lots and lots of tourists though...
Stayed and looked around for a while, but just left. Fortunately, a cute cocktail waitress validated the parking.....
Not a big fan of 'L.V.', but why have an event that's so packed with tourists.... So many places here that are open and away from the nonsense and crowds of downtown L.V.
Sorry for the 'rant', but was hopin' to meet up with some of the 'UMD' crowd....

Oh no! So sorry you missed us. We were there from 7pm till the bar closed. We've been keeping in contact via GroupMe. Oddly enough our group looks like all the other tourists, minus a pie or two!
We have the event here because the hotels and bars are close together, making it easy to meet up, grab food, and no drinking and driving. Plus Fremont is fun!!

Thanks for your message. Sorry to miss you'all. Where in the bar were you? Maybe you saw me, I was totally 'leathered-up', wearin' a black cowboy hat. The spinnin' cocktail bar looked like fun... I'll check with the plans for the rest of the weekend....

I'm sure it'll happen in 2028. Not 100% sure about it annually myself but folks seem really interested so hopefully it would happen regardless, so we'll talk about that
