Why should I have to put my picture up to prove to you chumps who I am? At no point have I shouted look at me, look at my picture. I altered my profile pic (not like an album of 100 pics or anything) for exactly the reason that I DON'T want my picture in here
It's not the Lucy show. Its the sad, 'think they are right', anti women thread (as this place CLEARLY is) crap. You have ZERO proof of who I am. I entirely get the sentiment about fake profiles and being strung along.
But who made you sheriff. So, all I can do is shut up and stay in the background. Delete my account... 'Oh, that proves it was a bloke', say anything in my defence 'Oh, he/she's constantly defending him/herself'. Fucked if I do, fucked if I don't.
Simple.... make EVERY person who opens an account on here have to upload a passport or driving licence and that image becomes the avatar. Problem solved.
I think the back and forth arguing between people saying Lucy doesn't need to post because no one cares and Lucy saying why should I have to post a picture here. It seems like the two parties agree. Lucy, you can continue to share no pictures and the rest of the guys will not care.

That's funny. I thought your profile pic was AI that was 90% based on you. Like you were advised to do via some DMs. So we should already know what you look like, right? Like I said, share a screenshot of a DM advising you to use AI for your picture and I'll apologise immediately.
I remember the full photo and the personals thread, which was about as 'look at me' as you can imagine. The teasing "I'm worried the black bar does little to hide my identity" that implied the photo is your true likeness. So which is it, do you look like your profile picture or don't you?
For about the fifth time: there's nothing wrong with having a fake photo. There's plenty wrong with pretending that photo is what you actually look like while you're trying to meet someone via the personals forum.
Can you see why someone would think this looks suss? If you want the 'scammer' label to go away, own up to doing this and apologise for attempting to mislead people. You've deleted the photo but people saw it and people remember it.
Several people have had money taken by other scammers and you've just insulted them by calling them "anti woman". Is the woman who started this thread anti woman? Are the other women who've posted here anti woman?
We're not anti woman, we're anti scammer. And I don't care who you are as long as you're not scamming people. Don't care if you delete your profile, or continue to lurk, or just come clean and start posting like a normal person. For someone who doesn't care, you seem to care quite a lot.

You seem to be unhappy here. You seem to have been unhappy here since February when you complained about mods not reading every single post and not stepping in when you were treated badly. You got a message from MM that at the time he said, you had not answered. Letting you know to let him know if you were having issues with people killing your vibe. I would suggest to make posts that have nothing to do in any way with your quest to prove to a bunch of people on the internet that you are not fake. Take some time and think about what you really want from here. If you want to post here and have fun, ignore people claiming you are fake and drop the issue. If all you want to do is stir up drama about yourself, continue with this quest to prove who you are to a bunch of people who have shown they don't care.

Putting up a photo proves you might be the person you are claiming to be. You don't have to, but don't expect us to believe you with no proof. Too many scammers.
It's not anti-women, it's anti-scammer. It's always been that. At no point in this thread has there been any mention of 'women bad' incel nonsense. we just want folks not to get scammed and the criminals that do the scamming to be called out.
I think the way you defend yourself is the issue, it's attacking others more than working with them. I'm not saying do what they say, you have that right, but understand we have the right to not believe you if you demand you are a woman, as you said "we have zero proof of who you are".
Uploading a picture from a license a) proves nothing. I can borrow a licence, I can take over an account. And B. Some folks want anonymity.
This problem can't be solved. Best MM could do is demand a face-2-face/zoom call if an account wants to charge money, and even then it's not fool-proof. (Also a huge time sink/logistical nightmare). So, in the meantime, we have to police ourselves, by calling out suspected scammers, which is what this thread is about.
Nothing is fool proof. I've busted boyfriend/girlfriend scams where they solicit customs, session, etc...you name it and if any proof is required, the girlfriend provides it. She'll video chat, post pics, etc...There are dating scams out there where girls will date multiple guys, as in actually go on the dates, get them attached then start hitting them up for money...car broke down, about to get evicted, etc...
The bottom line is stay vigilant and if you want content, get it from an established fetish model. If you want a session, go to Session Girls and look for reviews. If you want a custom, use an established producer. But if you want to give some random girl on IG, Twitter, or anyone who joins this forum a single dime, then you deserve to get burned. A fool and his money.
And to boil it down even more, the very second a "girl" on a forum engages in private messages with you, you're being set up by a scammer.
To the point users like Lucy state, "what do I have to do? Post a photo of me?" Well, no. I don't have any photos of me up, and I don't think people question my validity of a woman. Sure, I know people who have met me IRL from UMD, and I have lots of extremely close friendships formed from UMD; so I guess if all else fails, I have people who know me personally. I digress, you don't need to "prove" you're a woman if no one suspects you're not one.
The purpose of the thread was to highlight all sorts of strange behaviors exhibited by users who pose as women for whatever reason. Some harmless reasons, some not. I must say the thread was a resounding success in how we highlighted two possible candidates for investigation.
I don't feel the need to prove I am who I am, because the way I am doesn't raise any of the red flags the community members and I raised during this thread. That's the whole point, to show ways on how to protect yourself online. Don't interact with people who have questionable posts and photos.
UMD is a great site to find a ton super genuine folk who are passionate about WAM. Most of my closest friends I've actually meet on this site. The more aware we are of accounts that exist to impersonate and manipulate, the better we are. I don't mean to "yuck someone's yum"; regardless for your reasoning, you shouldn't be pretending to be someone else, especially using photos of another person you're not. That's an obscene breach of privacy for whoever you're impersonating.
Be open about who you are and what you want. I'm a big fan of muddy men and time to time I like to role play with others where I play the character of like a rough country boy who loves to get sloppy in the muck. It's fun and I enjoy it, and so do my playmates, but I'm not tricking them into thinking that's me. They know I'm not that character and that's fine. A role play is fantasy after all.
Be genuine and be yourself, and most importantly stay vigilant of others who aren't. I guarantee you, you'll have so much more fun talking to someone who doesn't hide the truth about themselves than you would talking to someone who does.

Hi Jody
For the sake of any potential future victims, would you care to elaborate?
Stealing money and or blackmailing folk is awful but other than that does it really matter if you're not who you say you are? I get that I'm now an old timer and that things have changed a lot over the years but I can really sympathise with people who feel they need to hide behind a fake profile. When I first stumbled across wam forum sites I was married. I was desperate to talk to others about my fetish. In those days you could put a different name into chat. As Bob (black adder pun I'm that old) I had some wonderful conversations with other fetishists and started to get my head around my own feelings. I also had conversations with folk who claimed to be what I was (20 something bisexual women) and probably weren't. Did I care? Not at all. I wasn't looking for a boy or girlfriend I was looking for ways to understand myself and a bit of a fetish thrill so as long as the other person was turned on by WAM, over 18 and not related to me who gave a monkeys what their real age or gender was? Then I got divorced and had another long term relationship (this time with another WAMer and eventually another break up. No surprise that after each break up my UMD activity sky rocketed. When I was last single I was WAMer of the day repeatedly. I wasn't looking for another partner I was rebuilding my self esteem after it had been torn apart. No face pics though. We all go through phases of doing crazy things but face pics on a fetish site is putting yourself at risk unless you're a fetish model. A new female profile on here sharing face pics and screaming look at me I'm really a girl definitely a scam? Nope but if it's not a scam they're definitely not someone in a healthy place. The following comment is not aimed at anyone who has been scammed for money, blackmailed or in someways been a genuine victim. I'm not victim blaming. The problem isn't fake female profiles. The problem is heterosexual males who think they're entitled to a girlfriend who looks like a model and shares their fetish. If you are looking for a fantasy then you may well find a fantasy.
