As fetishes go Wam is described as an innocent and harmless fetish. Does that though make it easier for the freaks of this world to manipulate people into getting involved? Gunging people in the name of charity when its your fetish, Daring people on youtube like its just fun. You see it more and more under age kids being manipulated into doing messy things by people who have this fetish. Theres even a Youtube channel that offered customs which involved her children . How big is this problem?
Hmmm. People involving children in any sexual fetish is obviously pretty nasty, but just to play Devil's Advocate here, are you sure the YT clips you're referring to are meant to be sexual? For a lot of people - in fact, most people on the planet who aren't us - mess and pies are simply "slapstick" and have no sexual connotations at all, so there's actually nothing wrong in gunging someone for charity because, well, it's just gunging someone for charity.
If someone is gunging an unsuspecting friend for their own fetish purposes then that's clearly wrong, and if you are sure you've spotted children being messed up for sexual reasons on YT then by all means report the channel immediately. However, are you sure that you're not seeing a clip through a wammer's eyes and reading a sexual subtext into it that actually isn't there?
As Freud (supposedly) once said, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
I emailed her. She new it was a fetish but argued her audience watch it purely for comedy reasons. Ive had my own messy channel and trust me. The audience is very much fetish based. Ive no doubt she didnt set out to make fetish videos but tell me anyone who offers messy customs to people who dont get turned on by it?

I'm sure this topic of conversation will help MM cause out tons...
Somebody check the terms of service.
You say that like im promoting. The point im making is theres alot of dodgy stuff that goes on that people either want to brush under the carpet or just straight up ignore
I agree what you are describing sounds wrong but Carl I don't really understand what you're trying to achieve with this thread. As moreslime said if you believe this going on youtube have a report function and a moderation team, this is something for them to deal with. I'm not trying to brush this under the carpet or ignore it as you put it but I can't believe anyone who was buying videos from this woman will read this thread and have a sudden change of heart. All you're doing is publicising for them.
I'll leave the decision to MM but I agree with 123gunge this is not a topic for the UMD forums.
This post was flagged and deleted, and I undeleted it. I read his post and it seems to me like a legitimate question about a serious issue, not actually advocating content with kids in it.
I'm guessing you're talking about the mother who made pie and slime videos with her kids?
So for those who don't know the channel, a person was putting up vidoes of her kids engaging in slime and pie antics, normally a simple set up, get a questions wrong, or a naughty elf gets pied etc.She then appeared on another channel doing customs for a few other people, and thus the the problem started. She got abuse and she shut down her channel for now. The major sticking point I saw was creeps suggesting her daughter (who looked about 12) get in on the fun, which is a cause for concern.
But I believe Carl_A was wanting to discuss was the fact that some people use the innocent fun of wam to get their rocks off by daring people to get messy/ jump into a pool. And while for the most part I agree that it is a problem. The thing is, any thing can be a fetish, so even the most simplest of tasks can turn a person on. Blowing up balloons, eating food etc, any thing can be a fetish and you will always have the freaks out there making video requests.
That women, Kody I think her name was, knew it was a fetish, but all of the videos that I saw were of children just getting messy and having fun doing so. No harm in that right? All of he fetish customs were done by other people. Perhaps she wanted to let her kids be, you know, kids and let them get slimed and messy?
The thing is, if you have a fetish like we do, you enjoy videos on two levels. You can enjoy it for what it is, people acting silly, and on another level, a sexual level. It is your choice how you perceive those videos.
As for tricking people into waming, well again what isn't a fetish? A gunging for charity is a common thing, and just because we get our rocks off doesn't mean it is inherently wrong. As long as you're not standing off to the side having a tommy tug then what is the harm?
I can only go by the above description, not knowing anything about this case.
That said, you have to look at intentions. And the fact is, nobody buys "customs" of kids who are just having fun. Hence it is reasonable to think that the fetish is the reason for her doing it -- her intention. And if so, then she's doing something wrong.
It's true that some benign fetishists have to live this weird dual life, of finding an extra charge from banal events. That can lead to some moral confusion.
So if this makes things any clearer, it helps to think of non-pr0n WAM as titillation. And if someone is asking for (or making) a video that asks kids to be titillating, then that's sick. I mean, we recoil from the ending of "Little Miss Sunshine" for a reason, so why not here?

Totally agreed with you on all points, Matt. Would love to catch up with you again mate if you would still like to do a wam video clip?
