I've always held those Gran Cassino pieings in very high regard over the years! Love those hits on most of the women!

Totally forgot about this one. This is one of the best. Hard hit, perfect sound of a real cream pie, and pure shock on the girl's face. I remember she wiped immediately and looks up at Ken like, "What the f*ck?!" before settling down and remembering that she agreed to get pied. In fact, I think she even apologized and said something like, "I didn't think it was going to be that intense." Pictures don't do it justice, you have to see the vid, so Ken, if you haven't released this as a clip yet, you might wanna consider.

I think most of the good pieings were two different women(one blonde and one brunette) in a number of guises. There is also the dark skinned body builder type that is great, too.
If we extend the word "pie" to include "cake" it has to be the hit on the gorgeous Greta Thyssen by Moe Howard in the Three Stooges short Quiz Whiz. The ne plus ultra of hits. Just perfect IMHO -- beautiful woman, well-dressed, great coverage, and I love her little muffled moan after being hit:

I'd never known about Joe Besser as the Third Stooge (teaming with Moe and Larry after Curly and Shemp had both passed) so the first Besser short I ever saw was "Quiz Whizz" on The Family Channel back in the mid-90's. Seeing gorgeous Greta for the first time was a special treat all on its own, but then when I saw her carrying that big white cake... All wammers know that feeling of hope when there's a possibility like this, so when this short actually delivered the goods in such a fantastic way I was entranced (and everything said about the cream cake hit is right on the money with that moaning reaction as the cherry on top). I'd seen women get pied in the Stooges shorts but Greta was something else. There was a different sense of glamour there (and a nice late 50's style).
Upon learning that she was in the "Half-Wits Holiday" remake called "Pies and Guys"? Forget it. Expectations were definitely high there and, by golly, that pie delivered too.
And in the exact same black lace dress, no less!

Leonard Maltin had very good things to say about (IIRC) this former Miss Sweden in his book "Great Movie Comedians." She did 3 movies with the Stooges, and got pied or caked in 2 of the 3. I think his comment was that she was much prettier and a better actress than many of the also-ran starlets the Stooges often got stuck with.
A few years ago, someone had a tribute here to Dorothy Appleby, another great Stooges leading lady. And then there was Christine McIntyre, who never once got messy or wet. Musta had some contract!
Although It is my belief that the intent of this thread was to post favorite 1st pie hit to the face, I'm including this pic of Jayce.. Obviously not a pie to the face, but still a wonderful pie hit... has to be my all time favorite single best pie hit pic of the many that I have one my hard drive.

For a WAM thread posting, that's some elegant, beautiful verbiage my friend. I appreciate a classy old school WAM-fantasy/memory.
Greta post was new to me as i believe i said, but fan-freaking-tas-freaking-tic. When i first started getting into pies and thus WAM, pre-CDTOTV it was all about Little Rascals, Stooges and Sesame Street/Electric Company pies. I must have seen this one in the mix somewhere, but do not remember if so. classic status deserved!
