Effective at the end of April 2014 Dirty Muse, Fucking Fantasies and PBH Pictures will no longer film any new video’s. I have filed a loss for 3 years running now and my other business and my 'Day' job do much better, so they get my attention. Part of the reason I have kept Dirty Muse running this long has been because of my fans and great customers. Its just not making enough money to continue making the movies I want to make, I refuse to lower my standards, I don’t make messy movies for my own jollies, I make em to make a profit. Dirty Muse chews up so much of my time it’s just become a chore to run and no longer fun. I will offer the company, equipment and material up for sale, check the ‘Producers Lounge’ if you are interested in the company, material or equipment.


Owning an 'Adult' production company has not been good for my personal love life either, for the last 6 years all I have dated is fetish models and while I love many of them and some I call friends, they all have a love life just as fucked up as mine is, terrible relationship material! I would like to date real girls again, have a real relationship. Most regular women will not date an ‘adult’ producer, some say they can deal with it but eventually they can’t…


Until the company sells (If it sells) my video’s will still be available in my UMD store and on my Clips4Sale store, I am currently negotiating with my old company Wicked Pictures for the sale of the material. In the mean time my Web Site will redirect to the C4S store as I am canceling my merchant account (Costs $mucho). I will keep my cloud storage available for a few months, PM me if you want access. It will not be cheap because that service is too expensive for the occasional user. I will no longer be available for tech support either; sorry I have to focus on the business that makes money.


I will still be around, I love the UMD and this community, hell I was here right at the very beginning helping Rob Blaine make movies, I will still check into the UMD, just not several times a day, I still have a serious Mud Fetish, I will keep my heated Mud pit for personal fun and friends usage. Thanks to all those UMD users who have been loyal customers and supporters of my work, I probably would have quit last year if it was not for you. This is a great community and I will always be part of it, just not a producer, I have met some great people in here and some real sleazy lying assholes too, but overall everyone is great.

In a way, I don't think it is sad news. It's actually good news, because you are closing the book on a chapter of your life that wasn't working out for you. Personally, I'd rather you stopped making awesome wam material, than carried on doing it and making a loss. I'm sure most people (like 99+%) would agree.

You've produced some of the best material out there. In time it will resell over and over and again, until hopefully you've made up for the losses of the last 3 years.

This is indeed depressing news. DM never aligned with my own messy preferences quite as much as I'd hoped, but the interest in quality was always evident.

I'm confused, though -- on Friday you announced that Danielle Trixie was exclusive to DM and that you were preparing your mud pit deck for the summer. Why the sudden change of heart? (And does whoever buy your business get to keep Danielle, too?!)

Also, Phil, seconding lchris001's question above, could you clarify what purchasing options are still currently available? It looks like it's still possible to buy a membership via the DM site but I'm now hesitant to do so based on the content of your initial post.

Wow thanks everyone, this is why I have gone on as long as I already have, you guys rock. My taxes are always complicated, Day job, 2 companies, Children, house, overseas investments. I was warned that if I file another year of loss I am liable to getting audited, plus on principle Dirty Muse has made a loss for the last 3 years, if it can't stand on it's own two feet something is wrong. Mostly my fault, I spend a lot on making the video's and upgrade equipment all the time, just nothing left to report as a profit. It was down another 40% for 2013 according to my CPA, chews up all my free time, it just makes sens to stop making movies. I never planned this, it just happened during a financial planning meeting with my CPA, talked it over with friends and this is the only logical answer.

I have the merchant account until the end of the month, so you can buy a membership until then. After that time you can still get all my video's as individual movies from my UMD store or on my Clips4Sale store (http://clips4sale.com/store/44318) I will also keep the cloud storage going so PM me and I will organize payment via paypal and send you direct links to the storage. I am talking to a good friend about selling the video's, I have no idea if that will happen or not but I am not going to turn down $30K If the sale does go thru I will have to take both stores down and the cloud storage. But I will keep them all up until (if) that happens.

I must admit the writing has been on the wall for some time now, My good friend and fellow producer EJ quit last year for relationship issues, his new partner Lola Lynn also quit modeling and now works at Supercuts. My good friend Jordan Kingsley quit porn and modeling too, now she is back in NJ with her family, Marcus London and many, many other friends in the business have just quit, some for personal reasons, many because of the lousy economy. Laws are getting harder to comply with, charges for adult related services are getting higher, not lower, even some of the bigger companies are having issues. There is no room for hi end productions any more, porn is too expensive to shoot compared to the sales I get out of it. WAM is a pain in the ass to shoot too, I have been clearing up mess for years, and years. Most people on the UMD prefer the girl next door, I am just old school and like mega hot porn stars in my fantasies, the girls that live next door to me are not a turn on. LOL

Its been loads of fun guys, seen a lot of pervy WAM stuff over the years. My last shoot is on Saturday with Danielle, she is also shooting for my other non adult business for me, Danielle also models for a still shoots for me again non WAM related. I will put my re-edit of Vixen up next month along with what I shoot the Saturday. Thinking about tying Danielle up and pushing her in the deep end of the Mud Pit

I can relate to that...we have been trying to get our own processor for some time but they severely limit what you can do and they want you to pay $1000s in fees upfront.

Practically eliminating what little you have left after selling vids.

It's a tradgedy to see what is, and i think i can speak for a lot of the community when i say this, the end of an iconic company. When I first found this site yours were my favourites Phil, and i think tehy always will be.

But you have to look after yourself, and i wish you absolutely every success no matter what comes your way.

Even though I was never going to be a customer, I'm sorry to hear this news, even just from the few previews I saw it was obvious that Dirty Muse's production values were of the absolute highest quality, and those who like their wam nude and sexy have lost a truly talented and professional producer.
