In the interests of Science, and creating the best videos I can, I have constructed this fool proof poll to determine the most important factors that play a part in deciding what messy videos you ( that's right you! ) want to see made, and buy. So

the clothes

Film "theme"/storyline and events, how well these events etc are acted and by whom.

Many of the above. Bad camera work can be a turnoff for future purchases. Models who don't carry off any sense of the fantasy the customer might seek can end a relationship. High prices per content and length are often a hindrance. Bundling different kinds of scenes when the customer may just be seeking one scene out of three or four, is a problem. Misleading descriptions lead to bad business. Cutting off scenes just when the event turns 'hot' can be perceived as undue manipulation.
On the other hand, some clips "cure" over time - not seeming like the item one wanted until weeks or months later when it is obvious that this was, after all, great material, great stuff.

I'd recommend filmmakers in this genre to follow their own passions and not try to "catch" a large number of fetishes in one. For me it doesn't work. Just do what you love.

This is a tough one, because there really is no one single factor that I can identify in my own purchasing patterns...it's a mix of all of the above!

I know this isn't what you're hoping to hear given your niche, but nudity is a factor. There's also the amount of mess as well - that is, I'd prefer 10 B or B+ pies to the face over only a couple of A pies. Another thing is past track record in that if a producer has delivered good scenes in the past, I'm more likely Toby one of his or her videos than take a chance on the unknown.

All this having been said, if I had to select one choice in your poll it'd be hotness of the models.

Lacks the most important for me... A good plot...

You missed out what for me is the most important factor of all - the clothing.

Nudity? No sale.
Bikinis or skimpy outfits? No sale.
Low-rise jeans or trousers? No sale.

After that, how the scene is presented - if the preview only has thumbnails which can't be enlarged, no sale. If the preview only has head / upper body shots, no sale. If the scene description / samples / trailer don't clearly say/show what the scene contains, no sale.

After that, things like level of coverage, attractiveness of models (which is of course deeply personal - one person's hottie is someone else's average), and what exactly the model(s) do in the scene - detailed text descriptions help here, let potential purchasers know exactly what they are going to get.

After that, previous experience (if any) of the same producer's work and techniques. Shaking cameras are a personal bugbear of mine - I once downloaded a scene where the video camera jigged about like a small boat in a force ten gale for the entire scene - completely unwatchable.

I know that probably sounds horrendously negative but it is the process I go through in deciding what to buy from other producers. Of course what's a complete turn-off for one person is someone else's must-have-at-all-costs scene, so as Sweem said, the best approach is to follow your own passions and do it to the very best of your ability, rather than trying to cater to everyone's wildly varying tastes at once.

I had a quick look at your (trotterpm2's) store. I love the stylishness, the movie-posters for each scene, but I'm afraid the clothes are all way too skimpy for my taste, sorry! I'm sure it will appeal to a significant chunk of the WAM demographic though.

Whoops. Seems my poll has a huge flaw. Of course the majority is picking substance. Pie people want pie above all other factors. Mud people mud. Slime people slime, ect.

My brain was on stand by when I set this up apparently.

I have come up with a very simple purchase matrix..

Is there 2 girls wrestling in mud starting with clothes : Buy 100% sure
Is there 2 girls wrestling in something wearing clothes : Buy 95% of the time, 5 % no buy would be if there something freaky with the video.. aka.. clowns or blood..
is there 2 girls having messy make out session starting clothed then getting messy : Buy at about 72% of the time, depending on model hotness, and video quality and price
is there a girl playing in mud wearing clothes : buy 40-50% of the time depending on clothes, mud quality and video quality.

Anything else.. maybe if a video is on sale with hot models and good quality production I would buy.

I'd like to see a video that focuses on comedic humiliation and reactions of impotent indignation. I'd like to see characters wearing clothes and establishing personas that reflect a certain arrogance, so they have dignity to lose and deserve to lose it.

I'm also a fan of comic sound effects that heighten the humiliation and treat these once arrogant characters like cartoon stooges or clowns.

What I'd most like to see is a character made to look like an actual clown via unpredictable methods, and continue to be humiliated by the experience. There are already a few videos around involving clown transformation, but each of them make the girls take on clown personas that enjoy being silly and then they immediately stop being entertaining.

so for you, I shouldn't change a thing.

For me, there is only one factor that matters.
It makes absolutely no difference to me whether the clip is HD or digitised VHS, what the model is wearing or not wearing (although I do have preferences, I'm still flexible), whether the video is scripted or improvised, plot or no plot, lit like a movie set or a dank bedsit... etc, etc.
The one thing I never compromise on is the level of mess. As long as the model is completely obliterated by it, it doesn't even matter what the mess is. I'm far and away a slime and gunge fan, but I've seen amazing videos where the model is buried under barrages of pies until utterly unrecognisable.
This is what I look for when purchasing videos. Everything else is secondary.

Wow, that's a tough one. It'd be hard to pick one element. Hotness, storyline and kind of mess are all important. Also, the actions are important too. Personally, I'm a big fan of pantyfilling. Hope to see some soon! :readit:
