This Sunday will be three men versus three (apparent) women. All the women look to be in their 30's (or younger).
Banning the old men/women and kiddies has opened the door for significantly better players.

There's usually a free livestream on YouTube. Search "SBT Ao Vivo". You can watch from the U.S. without a VPN. The games typically begin 11:15am Eastern time.
The women received five pies in total. All three of the women received at least one pie. The men received six. The contraption threw every pie accurately. If they were to bring back the original pies then this would be the best version of PoR in many years.

) LOL.... I've ALWAYS been a fan of the "Brazilian formula" of pies. As you can see from the CM compilation above, it's the main reason those Chega clips still hold up. (And why we put up with the endless rivers of bullshit from the male cast members, particularly Curly Sue and the twins.) It's also the main reason we've been putting up with all of Domingo Legal's bullshit for years now too.... because on the rare occasion when a female is actually pied well with aftermath, it's typically epic.
But spray whip cream on a plate? With the paper plate sticking to the face half the time so there's zero aftermath? That's just poor. I'm glad PoR is finally bringing back women under 50, and returning to gender equality in the process, but the new pies ruin the best part of the show. Melon Woman took some epic hits with the "old" pies, and she was game last week, but the new formula let her down. If and when the YouTube channel ever decides to put up yesterday's game, I suspect it'll be the same old thing.

Yeah, just busting chops (I do that now, ask anyone). I can't help but appreciate that the catapult seems to be 90% accurate (and the misses were early, so more like 100% now). After years of seeing misfires on WWYD and even recently - Fallon and Noches were better, but more like 75%.
Something about the catapult throw is just different/cool, but it's a double-edged sword, since I would imagine it makes it tougher to use the "brazil formula", which requires a bit of push/rub moreso than a throw.

No, it isn't. DL is broadcasted by SBT. Big Brother is broadcasted by Globo TV.

One of the women was a cute brunette (20-25). The other was an attractive strawberry blonde (25-30). The third was a frumpy 40 something. (I'm assuming all are actually women and I'm guessing their ages, I didn't have time to research).
The cute brunette took 2 pies with a few seconds of aftermath. The strawberry blonde took 1 pie. The frumpy lady took 2 or 3.
Again, the pie machine was 100% accurate.
The pies are still crappy.
This seems to be the show until corona is gone.
Update: the cute brunette is Cinthia Cruz born July 3, 2000.

Today's episode was fine for me. The way that the brunette opened her mouth, so as the dress and the earrings she used to get pied were great.
It was also nice to see the blonde being pied, with her red lips appearing beside the cream, so as the way she shaked her arms. Good show today.

1) I don't know if he's still from Globo(I don't know exactly his name, so I can't check that). But, nowadays, Globo TV isn't mantaining in their cast artists who aren't in any show. They only keep hired who are currently working for them.
2) Yes, SBT always accepted participants from other TV stations in all their attractions. This frequently happens. Probably, the repetition of the contestants on PoR is for promote SBT attractions(as it was done today). And, possibly, if they call people from other TV stations, they may spent more money with paychecks.
The episode with Dumb (or is it Dumber) is this Sunday.
Since Dumb ruined so many CM episodes I won't be surprised if he does the same to PoR -- which shouldn't be too difficult to accomplish.
At least he doesn't have to physically throw any pies, a job that seemed to cause him significant mental stress and was usually painful to watch.
Dumb's one skill on CM was slipping, falling and landing on pies. With Covid concerns I don't think Celso is going to allow him to do that schtick.

Terrible pie formula + terrible game setup is always gonna bring bad results. I'm not sure why "pies always hit their target" is a positive. That annoying Hasbro game accomplishes the same thing, but if the pies suck, it doesn't really matter.
Anyway, every week of this makes me miss Chega Mais even more. As I said at the time, it wasted TONS of potential every week, but it was still miles beyond any comparable show, and I knew we'd miss it when it was over. Boy, did we ever....

However, there was a bright spot.
The woman lost 6 out of 6 times -- probably a record. And the machine nailed her thoroughly each round.
Unlike most of the women they've booked recently she was happy and enthusiastic each time she stepped to the machine.
If they were using the old pies it might have been a top 20 classic.

She's 21 years old. I was watching PoR on TV, but I had to turn off the TV before the pie segment.
