26 years here too. Also remember watching the CG live "stream" - and having to explain why I really didn't want anyone making a phone call for several hours
Met my (now wife) here about 10 years ago - so umd will always be a very special place for me
I remember the time before the UMD hazily (college years :bahaha; USENET groups, the MudPuddleVisuals BBS, etc. Got my first true ISP on New Year's Day 1997, found the MessyFun website, Aquatapes, and the WAMSAT run by good ol' Jimminy Thicket. Through that I found Shokolada's Mess, MessyGirl (when she only had up a few pictures from a bachelor party), Messy Chris' Art of Mudplay (I think that was the name), and Martin and Andi's sites. Also remember the messy-abc.com site which was the predecessor to what would eventually become the UMD, with its bright green on black color theme that was so popular on the web at the time. I also vaguely remember e-mailing back and forth a time or three with Rob Blaine before he passed away, and then with Messmaster. I don't miss the days of dial-up, having to wait over an hour to download the new 6MB MessyFun trailer...
25 years, since they launched I believe around 1999. I actually met Messy Toni, that's how long ago. But I took a hiatus and when I tried to log back in, it wouldn't let me so I had to create a new profile.
Hi all. I'am here since 26 years and start my ICQ with Messygirl Leah. She was just one number ahead mine. And I have had some very horny live messy chats with her in realtime... Maybe you remember that Leah? Greeting's from germany.
I'm just a young whippersnapper who has only been here for 21 years. In 2003, I had a website and was selling VHS tapes of the mud wrestling matches I taped at the Tacoma, WA nightclub I worked at. UMD user Chainsaw John found my site somehow and hotlinked an image file on my site. The resulting traffic CRUSHED my expensive and pathetic 30 Megabytes-per-month web hosting plan, so I doubled the plan. The new limit was crushed again within 2 days, which eventually led me into the world of dedicated servers and running my own hosting company. Coincidentally, and unbeknownst to me at the time, I ended up in a data center run by "The Planet", which was the same company that hosted the UMD.
Using my server logs, I found the source of the traffic - umd.net. I had no idea that this community existed and was glad to find a concentrated customer base. Been here ever since.

And nickels had pictures of bees on them. Gimme 3 bees for a quarter you'd say! Of course we didn't have white onions, because of the war
This reminds me, I've gotta take the ferry to Morganville to get a new heel on my shoe.
I first found umd in like '02 or '03? Didn't know it was anything more than a place to get to other sites until much later so didn't make an account til prob like '08 or so

Holy cow. Chainsaw John. The first penis ever seen on the UMD, if memory serves....
Definitely I knew from a very young age, like others who have posted. We're talking 2nd/3rd grade. Always looked forward to women getting pied, always let down when it was a male. Yes, the 80-20 rule sadly very much applied to TV pies in the 70s/80s.
Found Rob Blaine/Messyfun in grad school, early to mid 90s (newsletter, snail mail).
Started posting Mrs. Bee pics here early aughts (didn't post earlier as we were raising a young 'un and busy with straight jobs...me tech sales & BD, Mrs Bee finance & accounting, ha).
Cheers to Messmaster for keeping this place running. How many other businesses and websites can you say the same for, especially fetish, with that kind of longevity?
I'm quite a bit newer and somehow managed to miss UMD on my old 1990's searches on Alte Vista etc. over the pip-squeeking modem for people in wet clothes. Great to see the Wayback archive front pages. I always wondered what UMD stood for My wet pics go back a mere 15 years.

Ahh, Chainsaw John and Grace's drama was a fun time, and who can forget his feud with Lovingway? I wonder what that ol' baby seal clubbing madman is up to these days.
I've been around since stumbling accross the site when on a college computer in 1997/98. Long before controls and any sort of regulation. Ordering VHS via Mud Puddlie Visuals via cheque it was such a buzz when they arrived many weeks later. The world is constantly changing but the internet has changed the world beyond belief. Its a great tool and a hugely dangerous tool. Everyone always say things "were better" but in so many ways they were. I am glad I grew up without the internet and all the social pressures it now piles on young people. I am also glad i can dowload decent material in a couple of minutes!

Ultimate Messy Directory.
Or alternatively, The University of Maryland. I wonder if any students have stumbled upon here
Funny you say that, I was born and raised in Baltimore and Messmaster lived relatively close in Delaware in the early days of the UMD. I remember asking him that question and he said if so he kinda hoped U of MD would try to buy the domain rights

I'm curious - your profile confirms that you've been here that long, but your first post was on 7th April. I.e. you didn't post anything for 26 years, then in the space of a month you've jumped up to #7 in the UMD rankings.
Did you post stuff before but then delete all your old posts? Or were you just waiting for the right moment to de-lurk? Has this account been re-branded from someone we might recognise?
Just to state the obvious, I realise that you're not under any obligation to explain yourself to me. However, this just strikes me as an unusual situation.

No conspiracy and no problem with answering. I have always been here. Lurking for decades. Kind of lost interest as life gets in the way, but still lurked without signing in every so often. Talked with my partner about the pros and cons of going public. It's been fine so far and hopefully it stays that way. Enjoying doing the videos and photos. The Love is where no.7 comes from cos it ain't from video sales
26 years here. I think it was like 1998 when I joined.
I recall someone named Messy Toni who uploaded some pics of her pied in a light blue business suit and that's what drew me to the site. I felt like I was no longer alone and throughout the years I loved working with other models here.
Spent many hours in chat talking with Messygirl, Ariel, and others, as well as setting up countless customs. Good times.
It's just amazing to remember what it was like finding UMD 26 years ago. And the ways that IT has changed our lives. Mind you, I can remember when electric lighting first came too. It was really useful to see your way to bed after you'd blown out your candle.
I also found the UMD when the web was young. Prior to that, I had discovered Mud Puddle Visuals on a bulletin board where your modem had to dial their modem to connect, and a photo took a million years to see.
Here is a MPV sample pic from 1998, a few years into the www.

Just clicked on your sample pic, then returned to look at it an hour later, just to get the nostalgia vibe

Oh yes! I remember all those vintage pics too! Wish they were still available somewhere!
I've had memberships to MPV for 20 years, but always wished they had a vintage picture section..
