Just a note to thank everyone who bought from the store during the month and a half I have been doing the '20% goes to Jessie' offer. I have been sending Jessie the payments directly each week & she has texted me several times to thank me..so I am passing that thanks down the line to everyone who has purchased during this offer period.

In total we were able to send Jessie a decent three figure sum which helped tide her over whilst MJD got the appropriate government support in place.

I read from MJD on his post about Jessie's health, that "I've sorted the ESA and the PIP payments plus housing benefit etc " so now that those are in place for Jessie, I will be bringing the offer to a close on Mon Jan 11th.

Any sales between now and then, 20% will still go to Jessie so if you've been thinking of buying an SS clip....and would like to support Jessie via this offer...then you have until Jan 11th

That's great that you're doing that, Rev! After all, look at all the cleaning bills for her clothes and underwear that you had your ladies trash!

You know I'm just teasing! That's wonderful, not only that you set it up for Jessie like that in her time of need, but also that you've been able to send her a "decent three figure sum"!

Yes....despite the occasional twatwaffle, the UMD really does seem like a great community, and the way people have responded to Jessie's illness is a case in point. I don't think I could get close to funding the cost of all the destroyed clothes Jessie has had over the years but at least it's a start

Thanks again so much for your help.
Just to clarify though only Jessie's ESA payments have started.
They are still pissing about re.the PIP and the housing benefit....both asking for evidence of every hospital visit/originals of her tenancy agreement etc which I've just sent off.
What I meant in reply to Candy was that we were aware of and have applied for the PIP and the housing benefit.
