I thought it was pretty entertaining....liked the idea of keeping it in the jungle. And John C. Reilly stole the show. It really sets the stage for Kong vs Godzilla in 3 years.
I saw it Thursday, enjoyed it a lot. I was really disappointed with Godzilla when that came out because he was hardly in the movie, luckily that wasn't the case with Kong, he had plenty of screen time! Kong's gonna kick Godzilla's arse.

Kong is awesome, but he's not a fire breathing atomic t-rex.
And thanks to Leila, I'm not going to be able to watch it without looking for gigantic monkey nuts.
Now, i'm a die-hard Godzilla fan. I grew up with all the old dinosaur and kaiju movies. I'm ecstatic that Giant monster/robot movies are making a return. But, I think I enjoyed Kong more than Godzilla. Seeing as he still has some growing to do, I'm pretty confident that he can put up a fair fight against Big G. BTW, there's an after credits scene.
Your photo reminds me of this hilarious Honest Trailer of "Pacific Rim" "the entire world's resources will be spent on building giant robots TO PUNCH THEM IN THE FACE!"
