Well, I think some users here in the umd are too strict to consider a celebrity like Katy Perry as a wammer. But IMO there are patterns that indicate that Katy as much as many other people (celebrities and civilians) clearly enjoy to get messy, probably without seeing it as a fetish or sexual stuff. I mean, Katy was involved in many messy situations all those years, and those things did not were contract obligations. She's not an actress in a kid show that got pied or messy because a script said so. She don't need to get pied in a videoclip or a promotion for her album if she don't want to do it or simply hate it. And I think the same can be said for other celebrities like Drew Barrymore or Kelly Ripa, and of course Sarah Shahi.
And what about the actresses in those brazilian soup operas, produced by the same guy (clearly a wammer) who already got caked or muddy like 4 or 5 times each. Mariana Ximenes, Flavia Alessandra, they have told in interviews that they enjoy the messy scenes, and keep working with this producer in a new show every year and probably get involved in messy situations again. They are big names in Brazil, and probably could avoid doing that if they don't want to.
I mean, got messy, get pied, been involved in a food or mud fight is enjoyable for a lot of people, and many of those probably has a kink with it, and participate in wam more often that what we think. For many users here this people are not wammers, but I tend to think (fortunately) we are much more that those who post on this site.

She knows that things like this garner her some publicity. I don't think she checks her mailbox to see if Rich sent her the latest Breana scenes.

To me, this is strictly a fetish site. You either have a WAM fetish or you're a producer/model/etc and cater towards it. Being open to getting messy does not necessarily mean that one is into WAM as a fetish.

Until Katy Perry admits that she is into getting pied like Sara Shahi did a few years ago, I am going to assume that she is just an open person that's willing to get ridiculous and not take herself too seriously.

I do like Katy perry, about 10 or so years ago, she was unreal, about 14 out of 10, the hottest woman in the world. I loved the latex outfits and stripper heels she used to dress up in.

Then she lopped her hair off and had this awful spiky blonde look, she went down to a 6 and a half out of 10, looking a bit like the barmaid in this manky pub in Manchester called the George and Dragon I used to go in about 1979/80 ish.

Her long blonde look is a huge improvement but I still preferred her as a brunette

Sweet! Can you so this with other videos? I always used to watch EMF "Lies" with the volume off and cut straight to the mud part of the video. I wish I had you by my side. There is soooo much I need to learn about making and producing videos!

Also, since I'm here, I'll chime in. I ran into this video on Facebook earlier today. I believe there must have been a pie on the screen cap because I voluntarily watched a Katy Perry video! I knew from the second I saw her carrying a pie, there was a good chance it would end up in her face. I got really excited as the anticipation built up and especially as the cartoon Katy pied herself, I knew it was bound to happen. I'm of the old school where in the 80's and early 90's I would watch endless hours of TV, hoping for a messy scene involving a pie, some mud or some slime. And I would try my best to record these moments on VHS. VHS that I would then hide in my naughty drawer with my dildo. This was way before the internet, so the first and only messy scenarios I saw on TV were from shitty sitcoms, movies, or gameshows, and the occasional music video. If I still had those VHS tapes to record onto, this might have made the cut, but I feel it could have been messier. Did anyone else notice that it seems like there's a glitch in the video between the two angles of the pieing? Like maybe they "stylized" the amount of whipped cream on her face and cleaned off her lips before angle 2? I feel like it should have been messier the way she really gave it to herself.

Definitely, you can see the whipped cream on her forehead is gone and also there's a smear of pie on the tin where she had to put it down, have some of the pie removed, and pick it up again. They likely needed a shot of her visibly happy/smiling to make it fit with the song title/motif of the record.
