They're definitely AI, I mean all the recent stuff posted. Smushingtin showed a sustained interest in AI videos and pictures when they became accessible to the ordinary mortal, though he also used to share some very good stuff with real WAM, on his blog particularly!

His AI creations are impressive but it also points out that the website he uses doesn't fully understand (yet) the throw or the smash of a pie.

Great thing about 'hiding in plain sight' fetishes is that some AI engines don't recognise them yet, they may in the future. And yes, the technique is the hardest part to get, all the other elements seem to be progressing (outfits, scenario, audio, coverage). For reference it takes up to 40 renders to get one good hit sometimes, which can get quite expensive.

I browsed through a handful of these and they are fantastic! The ASMR ones are standouts for me.

A friend of mine has made some AI related videos for fashion sales/marketing so I have some insight on why you need to keep the videos short.

Can you tell us about your experience with it? The pros? The cons? Where you think it may be within the next 1-2 years based on the growth you've seen with it.

The pros are the specificity compared to a few months ago, your imagination can really drive whats possible, for a fetish like ours thats great fun as everyone likes it a slightly different way. The con is the motion of pieing (sliming is fine) and the cost to keep generating videos.

I think what we're seeing is longer form videos possible with consistent characters and scenes stiched together, and more and more detail packed into the picture. The risk is however, like the wild west, it will get regulated and too expensive eventually to be practical to use for fetish things.

As someone who has been in the tech industry, I have to concur with all of this. The jump in video quality and prompt adherence from Veo2 to Veo3 is huge.The GIF posted below wouldn't have even been possible with Veo2.

(And I have to give @Kabe22 some credit, she posted some prompts recently, and it actually looks like a correctly thrown pie - there is still some hallucination at times, but Veo3 is getting more consistent with it! Still trying to get the physics of splatter a little more correct, as well as the consistency of whipped cream, but it's coming...)

And Imagen4 is even better at image creation than Imagen3 - still need to work on my prompts though. The static image is Imagen4, but you can look at my previous posts that use Imagen3.

The roadblock is going to be computing power, and all the electricity and water consumed by the data centers. One thing us software developers aren't known for is writing efficient code...

What's the average cost to create a typical video?

I'd say about $10, I'm getting faster at it but some specific scenarios are much more challenging and need lots of attempts to get close to something acceptable

Regarding the pieing technique challenge, I've been working hard on that today and I think I'm starting to crack it, here is a preview of a new clip (hopefully if the gif plays)
