Ah yes, the original 'girl with the dragon tattoo' (she had a large dragon tattoo on her back, covering half her torso (you can see this partly in one of the posted photos]) this was back in the day when very few 'models' (or females outside of the alternative 'grunge' scene) had tattoos [never mind such large, elaborate ones]...I believe her boyfriend at the time got her into wam; after they split, she stopped. Also, she is Chinese (based on her last name listed in the old site registry) not Japanese (as the name 'sushi' would seem to imply). Had all her pictures on my old hard drive, but that crashed and burned ages ago.
I am pretty private when I'm on this site, but here's a bit of a revelation. I was the one who got Sushi and her boyfriend interested in WAM. Back in the early 90s my wife gave me the go ahead to try to make my own WAM video. We made a video with four girls. Sushi was one of them, and my wife was a second. We all had a wonderful time making this first video and several others. At the time I was friendly with Rob Blaine and hoped he would edit one or two but he wasn't interested - he was very busy making his own. (Rob Blaine was very gracious when we visited him, however.) We also realized that video editing (in those days) could get pretty expensive. So we chalked it up to having a good time, and by then our actors were getting into mainstream jobs so it was better to stay private.
My wife and Sushi, her bf and I did a WAM performance art gig at an alternative rock/fetish venue. Later Sushi did a solo where she was a dessert buffet. It was a trip to see vinyl and leather clad guys and girls waiting in a polite queue to scoop some dessert off Sushi. At this point Sushi went on her own, but she quickly realized that producing videos and having an internet venue are a lot of work (especially when you have a full time job).
We are still friends with her, and in 20 years she has hardly aged at all. I sent her this link.
