The earlier pies made for some of the best WAM I've ever seen. As Rich said, all that was needed was a firm push and the girls face was unrecognisable behind layers of goop. The girls may have dominated, but it was quite good for male-female WAM. Looking back at older footage, there is something quite erotic about the hits Barbara gave out. Coverage seemed to be important to her, some of the smearing almost appeared a bit sensual.

Rich- on the topic of old CM pies, have you ever tried to recreate the super big, sloppy pies? I know you've done CM scenes before (don't get me wrong, with a recipe that no doubt took AGES to get down), but they were more similar to recent CM stuff. I know that CM pie recipe is like the holy grail, but if you could do some scenes with original CM pies that would be something to behold.

Last night, I binged watched old CM clips on a youtube playlist. Here some things I noticed.

1)Barb and Nadia started out nice, laughing and having fun. Then Barb became extremely angry and cried every time she got pied. Many months later, Nadia flipped out at Ruda for getting it her hair. After that episode all the dudes avoided her hair at all costs.

2) Although it was rare when it happened, Julia C took pies really well.

3) When the producers wanted the men to get the "reverse pie" punishment, they or Renata would tell them to pick up the yellow pies.

4) Early CM the women were all more playful and cool with getting pied. I wonder if they were all told to act more angry about it.

5) Dani got it a lot more then any other girl and from what I saw, never threw a tantrum about it. She would playfully try to avoid pies but always ended up taking it and laughing afterwards.

6) Not only was Ruda neutered when it comes to pieing the women, but also the twins.

7) The women smile more on the episodes when Barbara is not there.

8) Once they added the captain pie punishment, the only women to lose were the veteran girls. (Dani, 2 Julias, and Nadia)

9) Giovanna still rules lol.

Well, you have to melt them more... It's a little tricky. I think they left those pies under the hot studio lights for a while which probably helped.

I think Nadia, Dani, Maria, JuliaC and Barbara are essentially finished with CM. They appear in one or two episodes and then disappear for two months. Frankly, I'm sick of all of them.

I'd rather see these new girls take pies for the next several months.

So having got the chance to actually view the episode....
--Three very good pies for the girls, all no-names (for me). Only one actually got a close-up though, and no aftermath/interviews for any of them. For the first one, the cameraman never got better than a mid-range shot.
--Other three pies were fair-to-middling. (Not sure that qualifies as "B," but if you like hair WAM, I guess they were.) Biggest miss was Karla getting poorly pied and immediately shaking her head and running away, so basically zero aftermath.
--Only one guy got pied crappy... The rest got pied as well or better than any women. That includes TWO pie sandwiches (because Conexao), plus Token pieing Curly for some reason (because CurlyFuck). And of course, multiple aftermath shots, interviews, etc.
This is probably the downside of removing any female model with any personality whatsoever. All the "veterans" are now men... CurlyFuck, Ugly Bieber, Lumberjack, Brazilian Gavin Rossdale, etc. So the focus is gonna be on them whenever they get pied, not the women. (Which, again, is why Barb is needed. For all its flaws, the show and host LOVE to revel in her getting pied.)

--Finally, for the "captain" segment, they do pies leading up to it (good for us since this is where almost all the good female pies were)... But the captain is back to getting wet, not pied. (Token in this case.) So not sure if the return of "destroy the captain with pies" was a one-shot specifically for Brazilian Gavin, or an occasional thing, or what.

Best Conexao segment since they ruined the show, obviously, but inferior to 75% of the previous Conexaos before that. (And obviously worse than almost all CMs, but you knew that.) Kick the pie count back up to 30 and the show will be must-watch again.

One of the biggest mistakes CM made was not finding a "bad girl" to replace Barbara.

A bad girl is an absolute necessity to keep the program interesting.

The girls come and go so quickly now they don't have a chance to display/develop their personality. Most of these girls are gone after three or four episodes.

Barbara, Nadia, Maria, Paloma probably appeared on 20+ consecutive episodes.

I guess in the beginning there was reason to believe CM might be a ticket to a legitimate modeling career. Now, most of the models know it's a ticket to nowhere.

New IG confirms the girls are still allowed to destroy the guys with pies. (The reverse? Not so much. Or maybe there's some good hits they don't feel like promoting on social media. )

I noticed that the dude in the clip getting destroyed look like a special guest or something. But the black and white photo on IG it looks like some women might've got it decent too. Maybe they'll get a female special guest in the future and do the same to her...yeah I know, no chance in hell lol.

Not a bad edition at all....sure, plenty of male mess, but enough female pieings to make it fun...ESPECIALY the super cute brunette at the 44:12 mark who gets completely plastered (and we see the slow mo too, but then they mysteriously cut the rest of the aftermath...perhaps she was too pissed off)...but though quick, we see enough and it's one of the best female pieings on this show that I've ever seen....at least three other girls get it very good, too ( yellow pies all).

And the only female guest to ever get pied well was that female rapper from the Chega days.... And she got to pie one of the Idiot Twins multiple times before that happened.
All the male guests got well and truly destroyed, without fail. A lot of times they paired them with Barb so she would stay 100% clean, which was doubly infuriating.

I remember someone from Brazil on the forum saying, that in Brazilian tv that for most shows its normal for the dude to get destroyed and the girls don't get it nowhere near as bad. Which is why I miss Domingo Legal. Yeah it had some bad episodes, but in comparison to CM much less double standards.

I love seeing women get pied and despite all of the controversy this program generates on this forum, it's really produced a lot of great clips (probably too many).

Having said that, I often wonder what the appeal could possibly be for a "non-wammer" to watch this show. It's so repetitive and boring that I can't even imagine sitting down to watch it each week. Thank god for volunteer clip editors, YouTube, and "fast forward"!

Vonce111, I have wondered the same thing. Even as a WAM fan its boring. But as long as there are pies on the table, and gorgeous women in heels and skimpy tight dresses who might get pied, I will be back watching.

Wondered why no one commented on the 9-25 show... Then watched the shitshow for myself. OOF.
Rumors of the pie's return have been greatly exaggerated it seems.
(Well, unless you're on the guy's team... Then there's a chance that you may get more pies, at once, from your OWN TEAM.... than the women took the entire show.)

Did I mention nearly all the female pieings were terrible? Especially the Karla one? OOF. Someone in Brazil start a new pie show already.

This episode was a turd until the final round. The women received three (decent) pies (and a bucket of ice water) in the last ten minutes.

This episode had fewer pie plates in the balloons compared to last week.

It's possible that the decrease in pie plates from this week to last is due to the incompetence of the crew. There are so many inconsistencies from episode to episode that this is a likely explanation.

I guess we'll have to wait until next week to find out.
