This might be horrifically misguided, but I'm strangely optimistic for Sunday's show. Mainly because it *should* be the female captains turn to lose...right?

I wouldn't be - not a single pie to be seen on any preview picture or video. Think the high water mark has been reached, possibly for all time.

The videos are on the RedeTV! website. They're posted in two blocks. The first block is approximately five minutes. The second block is the remainder of the program, usually 1 hour and 20 minutes. For some unknown reason they stopped posting the videos in 10 minute blocks.

It appears to be another balloon-centered episode.

I assume the number of pies will be somewhat similar to last week.

The preview video shows Julia Cardones throwing a pie at one of the men. That's it.

They didn't even bother to post a picture of the "Top 5 Pies of the Week" on Instagram as they have the last two Saturdays. Not a good sign.

I just checked last weeks clip on YouTube. Well at least they're keeping the pies for the losing captain at the end. Unfortunately, it was a dude that week. So I guess I'll check the last 10 seconds of each week from now on lol.

A white pie! Exciting development!

I know some people prefer white pies as opposed to the brightly colored but I see this as a huge downgrade. It may even be a plate of shaving cream that can be easily toweled off or will wash away with a water balloon.

I can think of three quick reasons for eliminating the colored pies.

(1) The white pies are cheaper and can be produced faster.
(2) Money is saved from washing the colored pies out of the model's clothes.
(3) The women complained about the time and expense of getting the colored pies out of their hair.

This may be the final nail in a once great show.

Hahaha, forget what I said about it being the female captain's 'turn' to lose and get pied. Curly is the male captain this week. Absolutely no way he doesn't get obliterated with pies at the end of this episode.

He is? Oh Christ. Although, Diego aka Ugly Bieber (I even know his name - where did it all go wrong?) is markedly worse at this point, in my opinion. Curly clearly had his lithium regimen adjusted during his mysterious absence.

I must be a glutton for punishment.

I know this episode is going to be horrendous yet I can't not watch.

BAHAHA. Just kidding. Curly did win, but the two (!!) pies they gave her (one in face, one on head) didn't amount to anything. Wouldn't have even been in the 10 best hits of 4 weeks ago.

So it's official: Garbage games + elimination of pies (except as punishments) + garbage pies = Worthless show. I guess I'll tune into this thread out of habit, but it looks like Brazil managed to kill off the one good day of quality mainstream programming over the span of a couple months.

RIP Domingo Legal, RIP CM, and let's just pray some enterprising producer in this ridiculous country decides to tap that pie market before too long.

I think we can also directly link the sudden appearance of white pies on CM to the termination of the pie fight on Celso Portiolli's show.

The multi-colored pies helped CM stand out and differentiate its pie fight from PoR.

With PoR out of the pie fight business CM felt comfortable going white.

If my translation of a reply from the producers on social media is correct the colored pies will be returning to CM.

We'll have to wait and see.

I can see the show going down the toilet... or returning to an hour-long pie game within a month. Nobody knows (especially not the producers, apparently).

And not to needle, but my two favorite predictions of yours were:
--Barbara announced she is leaving the show (this was back in September of 2015? So... nah....)
--Token's new messy punishment that is not a pie (based on IG pics, and of course it turned out to be a pie. And the first of MANY times that a girl figured out she could simply wrap a whole pie around his head and cover his entire chrome dome with icing...)
