Sorry Mike not going to make this one afterall. I've been ill for nearly 2 weeks now and there's little chance I'll be better by Saturday sadly Have fun everyone

I feel sure that having paid out for the rail tickets that you'll make it to Bristol. Looking forward to seeing you again.
I won't be heading west, just into deepest London... And my birthday session is the latest cancellation in a month of things I had been looking forward to...
I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who came to the meet, the diehards, the occasional visitors, and the 4 Bristol newbies alike, for making it the meet that it was. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves; I think I got to chat to everyone, some only briefly, others for longer, on a wide range of subjects. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible, especially returning newbies, at future Bristol and other meets.
Those who made it were: -
Deepintheshadows Falkor and Custard Gungetvuk Janet & Nick and Suzy St. Clair MessyBusinessman Messy Jojo and Godfarter 3 Messy Laura and Mordicus ... and me, Mike Nomic.
There were eighteen no-shows, in addition to the notified ones, a great disappointment.
The card is below; despite having checked that cameras were available, we forgot to take a full group photo. There was no mud shoot on Sunday, as the weather forecast indicated that location-scouting would be a waste of time. Have I retired from shooting by default? The next Bristol dates are 19th August, 19th May and 18th August next year. Prayers for good weather will be gratefully received.
In spite of the absences, it was a great splunch. Custard (aka Atreyu) and I enjoyed it immensely. Many thanks to Mike for organising. Looking forward to the August splunch already.
