As far as I know, Chespirito was never shown dubbed or subtitled in the United States, only with original audio, it's incredible that they made a parody.

Unless it's on one of the specialty cable channels way up in the dial, I doubt the show they were parodying has made it to Canada either. I had NO idea what was going on in that sketch.
Fwiw, Sarah Sherman posted a pic of herself pied (the middle one above) on her IG with the caption "Back to work." (This was the first episode of SNL since last season ended in the spring.)

Whats hilarious is I used to watch reruns of it as a kid, it didn't have subtitles, and I don't speak spanish, but I kinda figured out what was happening in each episode. A lot of the bits were just physical comedy.
Even without knowing all of that about her, I would have guessed that Sherman was the most likely actress of the recent cast to take a pie, gleefully. You can just tell how game she is. I think the great Heidi Gardner would have been game too, making her unceremonious dismissal all the more unfortunate.

I remember Hurley Coward including many clips of the show on his cliptapes!

Through the grape vine, a few producers have tried and seen some success, but generally it seems like the pie barrage crowd (which I'm part of) doesn't suddenly expand dramatically when you go from a 10-20 pie barrage to 100. Not saying it wouldn't be successful for the novelty, but seems to me like going from 20 or even 40 pies to 100 increases your costs a lot without necessarily increasing your sales.
