Apologies if this has been covered already so I'll try keep this short. Basically me and my girlfriend staying in a AirBnb in a few weeks time and are planning on having a little session. So i found a place, appartment top floor with a nice bathtub. Stuff i'm planning on using includes, custard, rice pudding, baked beans, mushy peas, spaghetti, gravy and maybe some soup (I like savoury :ohno . My fear is blocking up their drain, in the past, I've just washed the stuff down the plughole after but I don't want any embarrassing AirBnb host review of myself from blocking up their bath with food haha. I've had a few solo sessions myself but with small amounts of mess. Is it worth buying some drain unblocker to help wash everything down or is there a better way to dispose of the waste? Any advice would be appreciated, also any good shower gel/shampoo, or would anything be ok?

Very brave to do a messy session at an Airbnb. If I was you would stick to things which don't have solids in like gravy and ketchup, even days later I can notice even after a clean up, splashes on walls and surfaces even ceilings when i have been careful, take some cleaning spray and microfiber cloths. If you do do solids like beans flush down the loo not the drain and check if they are in main sewerage as lots of retreats are on sespits and you wouldn't want to flush things into there.

I'd consider not doing it in the tub, but in an open room with the furniture pushed out of the way and with a painters drop cloth on the floor. That's what I do. Then when it's time for clean-up, wipe off the victim's feet and legs enough that they aren't dripping, and they can help you grab the tarp by each corner and fold it up, and lift it into an industrial size garbage bag.

Like the reply above, beware of wall splatter. It gets farther than you think. Especially if you're throwing pies! That shit will get everywhere after a good splat in the face.

Personally I wouldn't do that in an AirBnB. If you're dead set on doing it, I'd set up a kill room. I'm serious. General rule of thumb, don't do in someone else's house what you wouldn't do in your own.

I would absolutely not do that in someone else's house without them knowing. Maybe I'm old fashioned, I would honestly find that extremely disrespectful.

I recommend doing it in a larger hotel room, like a Home2 Suites or the like, and laying down a massive drop cloth with a path to the shower. In a place like this you know you're going to have more than 15 minutes of hot water at a time, and some decent water pressure. When you're done with your first shower, you can wrap everything up, put it in a large bag, and you're pretty much done.

Aside from agreeing with "Not in someone's house, a little empathy goes a long way"...

Use garden refuse bags, the kind that can holds rubble, and take it away with you. No unnecessary risk to someone else's plumbing potentially costing a fortune and not really a problem to put in a big bin at home.

For anything with solids down the toilet works best. Once those are cleaned up and remaining liquids or small pieces should go down the drain but not being your own place you don't know how old or already clogged said drain is so I'd keep it to the minimum. Heavy duty garbage bags are also useful and are good for leftover tins and make sure you drop cloth everything and then some!! Have fun!!!

Book yourself a premier inn or travelodge.Book an accessible room with a walk in Shower.Used them many a time.

Bring a dustpan,Rubber squeegee,Cloths and Bucket.

Its a wetroom...you can make as much mess on the floor.(Remember to cover the Shower drain!).Once you have had your session.Literally scoop it into a bucket add water then deposit down the toilet.Then refill the bucket with water and flush the toilet with it repeat till everything is off the floor.

Wash all the walls and the shower etc with a cloth

Much better then a Air BnB.Plus you can get rooms for like £50

Do it in your own house. Also, don't flush anything down a hotel toilet if you wouldn't flush it down your own toilet.

Done it over a dozen times...aslong as you water the mess down no problems...Toilets are designed to take a decent amount of crap...Excuse the pun there...

What kind of Air B&B is it - someone's actual home that they are renting out while they're on holiday, or one of the full-time commercial ones that are permanently available and are basically holiday apartments? I'd only do WAM in one the the latter kind, as others have said, doing it in someone's actual home would seem a bit disrespectful.

Regarding putting things down toilets, note the OP appears to be in the UK, our toilet waste pipes are usually large, you'd have to try hard to block one, so as long as acompanied by plenty of flushing that should be OK. Basically the more water the better, and you're looking to flush about 20 times minimum. Have a large plunger, and/or the number of a 24h emergency plumber, to hand just in case. And once the solids are gone, the rest should go down the bath drain fine as long as youi use lots (no, more than that) of water. We're talking leaving the taps wide open for at least 15 minutes, possibly half an hour. One thing I have noticed is that people often fail to quite grasp the quantity of water they need to use to make sure everything is fully flushed out of the pipes. The equivalent of a couple of buckets won't cut it, you want the equivalent of filling the bath to the brim at least twice and then draining it. Think gallons, not litres.

But for general advice on clean up - always assume everything will go much further than you expect or have allowed for. If you want to WAM anywhere that isn't a dedicated wet room or wam dungeon, you really do need to go full-on Dexter's kill room, cover absolutely everything including the ceiling in plastic sheeting, multiple layers, and use the heavy-duty stuff that builders use to cover window openings before they install the windows, not those idiotic "dust sheets" that DIY stores sell which rip and tear as soon as you breathe on them.

In general it's safer to play in hotels, they have heavier duty cleaning regimes, harder wearing surfaces, less clutter to worry about when putting the protection up, and often more powerful showers. Their plumbing is built to take enormous quantities of stuff, and they have insurance against anyone trashing a room, though that's still best avoided if you ever want to use the same chain again. Travelodge are good for cheap rooms with half-decent plumbing.
