Sorry for your lost. I've lost a few pets over the years, but the comfort they shared with you and the memories that you have of them will last a lifetime.
The passing of Presley is very sad news indeed. As a dog lover, I have some sense of what you are going through with her loss, Rich, and I know it can be very rough to lose such a close companion. My own current rescue dog has probably 5-8 years left, statistically speaking, but I am positive I will be absolutely crushed when I have to say goodbye to her.
To look on the bright side, you you gave her 13 years of loving care and a good home. And she lived to 20, which is a pretty ripe old age for a dog. And she had a long and mostly very good life (I say mostly because her previous owner was obviously a total piece of shit, at least at the point he or she dumped her on the side of the road). I'm also sure you were just as good a friend to her as she was to you.
(I'll also note that It warms my heart that Lindsay in particular was so fond of sweet Presley, because she is really one of the my absolute favorite SStuff models of all time, and I'm *thrilled* to hear she will probably be making a comeback soon.)
Explains why you said the other day why it was a difficult time, thought it might be Covid but it was the little one. Condolences, at least she had a much better life than she would have done without you.
Dogs is the best kind of people. You sure can get attached to them. At Camp MPV we had Taz who left us a year ago. He was likewise very popular with the ladies.
Thank you thank you THANK YOU for all the kind words.
I'm doing okay. Elvis (the cat) has been super affectionate lately. I think animals sense things.
To tie it back to WAM, I just had a great shoot with a great model who lost her dog a few years ago, so it was nice to reminisce with her. I'll be back to posting stuff soon. Again, all the love from the community and fellow dog lovers is overwhelming.
