It took us ages to learn this, but here is a secret about cleaning clothing that has been messed.
1. Natural fibers, real fur, cotton, silk, linen, etc. Wave goodbye, 'cause the stain will be in the clothes forever.
2. Synthetic fibers, fake fur and other clothing if it's polyethylene or other synthetic fibers. Messes will wash out, without staining.
So look for a fake fur coat or whatever you will be wearing, and make sure it's 100% synthetic materials.
Also, did you realize that if you just move 1 letter, Smiley becomes Slimey?

HA! I never even thought of that. Hmmmm, maybe I was destined to be a slime queen?
As for the salvaging, it has more to do with time than it being stained. Brown is a pretty natural color so even if a light colored coat got stained, it might still be usable if it's tan or brown.
But it takes ME over an hour in the shower to get the slime off my skin and out of my hair. Based on the scripts I have so far, my cameraman will probably be cleaning up a slime mess around the vat while I'm cleaning myself. A fur coat could take HOURS to get slime out of it, especially since it will get in between the liner and the outside, in the pockets, etc. Maybe soaking it and agitating it might help before I wash it, but that's where I am concerned and can't guarantee I will be able to spend multiple hours to salvage a fur coat, when I have a relatively narrow time frame to film in the vat.
Ultimately that's why I can't promise the use of something I already posted photos of, since that fur coat is locked in for a customer.
Hello, I'd love to see you with a synthetic fur coat. You can find them cheap on occasion, it's a shame that there aren't a lot of videos with clothes with fake fur. I would like to do a wetlook one day with my coats but I'm too afraid of losing the softness of faux fur.
