When writing lately, I've been thinking about various models' glorious "How did I get into this situation..." expressions.

There's a whole range of them, from "OMG, is this for real", to "Actually this is quite funny/sexy" to "I'm a classically trained actress FFS, how did it ever come to this..."

And in some cases they're seemingly for real, and in some cases they're brilliant acting, and in some cases lovely genuine rueful amusement/enjoyment reactions. But it is a certain look, I think, even if having fun and whether before or after the mess, a definite sense of "How did I get into this situation..."

A few examples below from historic UMD promo images. Would love to see more if anyone can be bothered (and, as ever, please support the relevant producers and models).

Sometimes I feel like I'm repeating submissions with all the different prompts here these days, but I do very much enjoy stealing a few shots after the main video or photography shoot is finished. All of these were first-time slimees (at least with me...). Inara in the cobalt blue was super excited and nervous about getting slimed during the half hour or so we were running a dry walkthrough/lighting test/blocking rehearsal before the mess started to fly. Here's her contemplating her decisions.

And then there's Kat (and her friend Jay) in the classic "How it started/How it ended" dichotomy. Yeah these images are spoilers with what I do but fuck it, I don't think this is the audience that cares about suspense.

This is a good one. I like that mix between humiliated defeat with a cheeky touch of "I may have actually liked that..."

Post-pub insomnia mode, so a few more old favourites which align to this theme (if only in how I read the photo!).

As an aside, I'm always aware that I hove to some particular sites and models of a certain era. Which is fine, I'm an old man and I know what I like! But always open to more recent suggestions and recommendations

These type of threads always amaze me with the incredible range of pictures produced by the various contributors.
So an enormous thank you to all concerned.
The only slightly frustrating thing is not knowing from which sites a large amount of the photos originated .
It would be brilliant if those credits could be attributed to the photos. I know there are a few mentions but the majority leave me thinking 'where did that one come from' !!

What a class idea for a thread, brings about a whole load of suggestions to mind. Agree that it can be absolutely amazing to see these sorts of expressions mid-gunge or just before it's beginning. Particularly think it can be brilliant to see a first-timer getting gunged and realising the magnitude of what's actually happening to them while only partly covered.

Have shared a few images here from the likes of TopGunge/MostWam/GungeGirls.com that I think fit this description best, but was certainly hard to narrow it down!

Not sure if any of the pictures I posted in my batch slightly irritated you, and I apologize for not properly crediting everything in my post. I could say I assumed all the pictures had watermarks, or that everyone should know who that is (like the Wife in one of the pictures), but I'll admit it, in my haste of posting a bunch of pictures that met the theme of the thread, I was a little lazy. Also some of the pictures are pretty old, and a lot of producers were working with the same models and doing similar content, like Fi worked with GungeGirls, Bound2BMessy, House of Slime, Messy Angel (maybe? Well I guess definitely since I think B2BMessy and House of Slime were like side projects of that site), Glamour Gunge/Girls Get Messy, SploshAGirl, sometimes it's a little confusing as to where they originated for me. I know a lot of them, but some of the Sammie B stuff I have, I have to wonder...did this come from GungeGirls or was it MessyAngel?


Anyways I can't edit my post now to update all the descriptions on the photos, but I'll try to do better in the future. Some people have already inquired about some of the origins of the photos, and some have helped out (thank you getemdown), and I've responded to a question as well. So feel free to ask, and I'll definitely fill you in if you do.

This is a great concept for a thread. Thanks for coming up with it, messwriter!
