I've always had a thing for stocks/pillories since I was very young, it comes from seeing them used at events where people are put in them and have wet sponges thrown at them.

A video I've always wanted to see involves a guy being arrested and getting his head and hands locked in a pillory or his feet locked in stocks and then has food and gunge thrown at him for punishment, foot tickling could also be incorporated too .

Would this type of scene be hard to do? I've always wondered why this type of setup hasn't yet been done.

On one hand, I'd love to see more of them, because they're one of my favorite things, but I feel like I have a few reasons why they don't come up as often as I'd like.

For one, they take up space, which isn't a big deal if you have a lot of space available for one, but they can be a huge pain in the ass if you want to transport it to a shoot. Second, they're a little bit more niche, which limits the appeal a little bit. Lastly, and the one that I personally think is most important, is that a secure pillory will, by design, force the head to face downwards, which isn't a really good angle for showing off mess. You could do something like Messyworld's pillory, which turns the whole thing 90 degrees to give it a better angle, but then you run into the issue of size again. Alternatively, you could use one that lets the person inside it look up more, but then it tends to look less sincere, for lack of a better word.

Despite all of this, I'd still love to see more scenes with them in general, as I do agree that they're criminally underused.

Probably they don't already have the stocks, so the hurdle is to go aquire them.

You could try for a custom? Find a producer whose work matches your style, and then offer to finance the purchase of the stocks for use in your custom.

Ideally, if the custom is popular and the producer makes good sales, they'll be more incentivized by those sales to do similar ideas to your original custom. Then you can also sponsor other shoots and move forward that way.

I also think that it's a case of finding decent ones and then paying a small fortune for them. Then you have to store them somewhere.

I turned my one big set of stocks into the gate to me vegetable garden, obviously I took the ankle boards out lol.

I'm working on a couple projects which I'm hoping to stick pine for free for people but it's all dependent on what's happening regards this country and travel.

I do have an ankle set somewhere, but never could work out how to do a self wam scene with them!

Really though, I think the takeaway here is that I both need some of these, and the space to put it!

I'd imagine it comes down to where to get it or build it, where to store it, and yes you would need a second person. But it would be awesome to see more of them, same with St. Andrew crosses, slime dumping contraptions ect. All the things us wammer dream of.

I love them but had to get rid of mine - they were difficult to store, difficult to clean, difficult to take apart and move out of the way for scene changeovers etc and it limits the models happy to be in the scene even further

I do intend to try and find and easier way/better equipment/work out some sort of system or make sure I have some assistant on hand for sorting them out so I don't have to but all that takes an intimidating level of organization I'll hopefully get there one day though. (can't film at all at the mo for many reasons, most of them covid safety related)

I think like previous comments, most dont have the space to store them.... on that note i think i should make some! Get me in!

I have thought of asking about a custom video but I really don't have the money for one at this time and not sure when things will be better for me to afford one.

What a great set of stocks - and the horizontal head and hands board is a perfect solution to the 'looking down' problem with normal stocks where the guilty subject has to stand up for their punishment...

Good to see other's wanting to see stocks in videos, you don't see much discussion on this forum
that involves stocks. I've always thought they go hand in hand with mess .

The reason why the stocks and pillories don't get used right now is that they're all being mothballed ready for when we can fill them with Boris Johnson and Donald Trump and their respective cabinets!

It is actually a fantasy of mine to be locked in pillory and humiliated. Would love for it to be at an outdoor festival where people can throw anything they can find from the festival at me.

As others have said, wish I had the room to store a set.

There used to be A video in p-hub called "the pie board" posted by pieintheface2 that I loved! The guy had his hands and feet through it and was pied many times and I think had gunge poured over him towards the end. Tickled his feet here and there.. It became a fantasy of mine. Unfortunately it looks like the video is gone..

I don't think the video was his to post. It's one of those users who postother people's videos.
It was a great video though.

Orrrrrrr we could just leave it, and wait for newer vids to come out .
