I recently booked a overnight stay in a local hotel for next week for somewhat of a big messy session. I just wanted to know if anyone has done this before and if you have any tips on it all, I've chosen to get messy with lots of beans, a cake and ketchup. Many thanks in advance!
Lots depends on how you want to do it. If you want to do it in the shower/bath it's different from doing it in the middle of the room. The beans and cake won't go down the drain either way so you'll need a way to collect the solids and secret them out into the bin.
Plastic tarps and big heavy duty garbage bags are your friend. Depending on how much flinging of the mess you plan to do it could be very worthwhile to cover the walls and furniture with plastic too. Painter's tape works well because it comes off of almost everything easily.
I don't know if you have these in England but occasionally in the US I get put in a room with an accessible (handicapped) bathroom because they are out of other rooms and I booked on a super discount rate. These are ideal for wamming! Huge showers with detachable spray handles and extra tile on the walls; often central drains. Sometimes even a waterproof shower chair that's easy to wash down. You might say that you have a bum leg and have trouble climbing into and out of the bath sometimes and you would appreciate a room with accessible shower if possible.
Thanks a lot for taking the time out your day to reply! A better room became available in the hotel so I changed the dates for tomorrow instead of next week. The plan was to do it in the bath, the plastic sheeting thing is a good idea I'll definitely will do that.
I really wished I saw your replay before I re-booked the dates, the handicapped bathroom is a great idea but it's was a little more expensive and there might also be a person who actually need it lol. Again thanks for the reply!
I was going to contribute, but mz1 said it all. Word to the wise, food coloring and shaving foam are extremely staining on carpets. And everything else Lol. Never had a problem with batter and food coloring.
If not covered in frosting, are you really living?
